I was obviously talking about the atrocious cellphone recordings from the middle of the crowd which result in terrible video that never represents the real experience in any way shape or form. For starters, this might be the cleanest audio I've ever heard from a live black metal performance, absolutely flawless. Second, everything about this band's sound is classic black metal to the core, and I'm amazed I haven't heard about them until just now. These ladies are killing it.
Word, i was thinking the same. That the legends we saw playing in the 90's was a bit more fuzzy and not so tight as this.Yeah, ninja-tight delivery. Very impressed by new guitarist, so meticulate and tight. Happy that quality attracts quality so its this power unit. Respect!

This is good stuff, no doubt about it, even for regular Black metal standards, but its not so good that it stands so far outside of the genre it could be called exceptional. So you either like this because, as you said, you're not much into the genre so you simply don't really know a lot of bands, or you simply like this cause its females playing. Which, on that merit alone, is freaking ridiculous. Get mad about it.

Black metal will never be as mosh pit/pogo/headbanging-inducing as thrash or death metal. It is more of an intimate and trance-inducing experience. But nevertheless, BM shows are absolutely worth it when the band and the sound are so good!!

really depends, earlier there was movement in the crowds, people were aggressive, grunting, screaming. Been to many concerts where the crowd was not "dead", and in my opinion, it's way more enjoyable this way. But yeah, it really depends on what you're looking for in such concerts. Great video by the way, the sound really is good
