    Best advice I was given as a shy person:
    'Be interested to be interesting'
    We have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. Ask more questions, genuinely be interested in someone's job, hobbies, interests etc. Everyone's favourite subject is themselves

    I think it’s important to note: don’t just ask questions. At a certain point it becomes an interview, there’s a balance involved with good conversation. If someone shares something personal, you’ve eventually gotta say something about yourself too. Or at least give an opinion or insight on what they said

    It is extremely important to be an active listener because you can actually benefit and learn from the person's life experiences due to multiple interactions, going to different places and have encountered different people. Then you can ask questions and genuinely be interested in their occupation, hobbies, interests etc.

  • @karna5998
    @karna5998 2 года назад +24

    I'm not socially awkward but I realised that I was mostly just talking with my friends.
    Recently I've started asking things to people that I find even slightly interesting, and it feels amazing. I went on a trip yesterday with a friend and his family, I was cool with his cousin but never talked at length to him. He was sitting besides me and I saw a RUclips notification on his phone which had the logo of React Js (it's used in making websites and web apps) so I asked him about it. And then we had like an hour long conversation about many things, websites, going for a job in a new city, having to make new friends there, losing connection with guys after they've married , many many things.
    Moral of the story? If you find something interesting about someone or something, just tell them and ask them about it. Most people will be happy to talk about it

      The way to not be socially awkward is to focus on the person you are interacting with rather than what you imagine others perceive you as. Good for you for your newly learned lesson.
      If you enjoy challenging ideas and if mastery and masculinity are subjects that interest you, I invite you to explore the videos I share on the Mastery Order Channel.
      Challenge yourself with some ideas about manhood, explore your masculine potential to the maximum and become the kind of man you would admire.

Just there waiting the whole time like you said, to tell someone all about what they want. Not an open conversation what so ever. Sad that there are so many of these Toxic people out there. I must just give one point i think its a mistake here, beaing extroverted or introverted are decided when we were born, but being social is a skill indeed. General misconception is that people think that introverts are poeple who are shy, anxious etc and extrovertrerts are open, bla bla. Only diffeence between int and ext are in way of thinking and expressing emotions, it has nothing to do with being social or not. People just say they are introverted to cope with their innability to be social

  • @eigelgregossweisse9563
    @eigelgregossweisse9563 Год назад

    It's not that you're born with it. It depends on your genes, your body's gut microbiome and all sorts. Science has proven that autistic men have a different microbiome in the gut, they did studies on fish. This actively impairs the social skills of the man from young. So it's not also... "a skill" to learn, which if you determine it by neuropsychology and it's all there is, it's not. It's also well... spiritually, that's a whole different ball game. There's a whole lot more.
