Your dad is a G for helping you improve your social skills, my dad didn’t really teach me much about being a man but thank god people like you exist, without you, hamza, and others I would have been a loser.
Best advice I was given as a shy person: 'Be interested to be interesting' We have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. Ask more questions, genuinely be interested in someone's job, hobbies, interests etc. Everyone's favourite subject is themselves
That's the main reason I usually don't speak a lot during conversations. I simply can't force my self in being interested in things I really don't care about
I think there’s a little difference. You can’t ask questions all the time, you have to be able to keep up a conversation without constant questions. It’s a conversation, not interrogation
@@smartyoutube7223 bruh, I'm from Ukraine and I graduated there in July, BUT I need to go to German school before 2024 or even 2025, fucking sad. I want to be at Uni so bad
I think it’s important to note: don’t just ask questions. At a certain point it becomes an interview, there’s a balance involved with good conversation. If someone shares something personal, you’ve eventually gotta say something about yourself too. Or at least give an opinion or insight on what they said
It is extremely important to be an active listener because you can actually benefit and learn from the person's life experiences due to multiple interactions, going to different places and have encountered different people. Then you can ask questions and genuinely be interested in their occupation, hobbies, interests etc.
The part about people rarely being listened to is very true. I work in retail rn and it’s fascinating watching people open up to you so easily if you’re a sincere person that’s genuinely willing to listen. It really helps lower someone’s defensive guard of the world if you’re someone that can genuinely listen before talking
Moral of the video, as long as you’re a man and you’re socially awkward, no one will ever give a fuck at all! People always expect men to bounce back and to get over their stresses and trails and tribulations. No one cares about mens issues and what he ever goes through in life
My quote is "the world is cruel but you have to fight anyways." Your pain and suffering doesn't matter to the public, you have to take action I'm awkward asf, but I just have to learn how to be social.
I'm not socially awkward but I realised that I was mostly just talking with my friends. Recently I've started asking things to people that I find even slightly interesting, and it feels amazing. I went on a trip yesterday with a friend and his family, I was cool with his cousin but never talked at length to him. He was sitting besides me and I saw a RUclips notification on his phone which had the logo of React Js (it's used in making websites and web apps) so I asked him about it. And then we had like an hour long conversation about many things, websites, going for a job in a new city, having to make new friends there, losing connection with guys after they've married , many many things. Moral of the story? If you find something interesting about someone or something, just tell them and ask them about it. Most people will be happy to talk about it
The way to not be socially awkward is to focus on the person you are interacting with rather than what you imagine others perceive you as. Good for you for your newly learned lesson. If you enjoy challenging ideas and if mastery and masculinity are subjects that interest you, I invite you to explore the videos I share on the Mastery Order Channel. Good looking ones 😂 The smile is one I need to start doing. It generally hasn’t crossed my mind before, until I thought abiut it. Everyone does it.
