if you hold two seals at once(one in each hand) the damage stacks for a total of 20% damage for godskin incantations. for all my pyros out there this works with giants seal and adds up to 40% fire giant/fire monk incantation damage
@@gagel.mascoe5367 idk if it still works I haven't played in months but for giants flame seal its definitely worth it since your going from 20% damage to 40%. and for a build like this I just stick to the seals with a danger and buckler for parrying. mind you I do mostly pvp with this build but the damage is great in pve
This is a multiplicator, it does not sum up, this is even better. Let's say you do 1000 base damage, then it is 1000 x 1.1 x 1.1 = 1210. 20% would have been 200. Not a lot more but still more :)
I just love how stylish you make this build look. I've been running a black flame build as well but I'm nowhere near as good as you. Thanks to this guide however, I will definitely improve my playstyle. Awesome video. Thank you
This is one of the coolest builds I've seen. The builds that tend to draw me are the weird ones, my favorite was to play fromsoft games have always been pure pyro/pure faith, and in elden ring I love any pure caster playstyle. I also really like items focused builds. The reason for this I think is that the playstyle is just so different from so many people's playstyle. Your build managed to do that while being not just viable, but extremely versatile, powerful, and unique with one of the least used weapon types in the game! Definitely on my list of builds to make. I plan on shifting the stats and talismans around (~50str/60fth) so I can focus on crits as well, but the entire idea is thanks to you! I love the combo potential these spells bring
I mean the build itself is still very stronge but I would either use spinning slash on flame art misericorde or keep fotr and level up arcane to 16 to use dragonmaw which does 45 stance damage@@Adrian-ck8lw
Worth a mention, Prophet is the most optimal class for this as the only gear stat requirements are 7 str, 12 dex and 27 faith. Running Prophet you will have 4 extra points to dump in mind.
I didn’t even realize this was the same channel that created the amazing strength build guide. At the end of the day, the aesthetic and play style are much more important for fun than efficacy. Fextralife makes great guides, but he literally just made a “build” video which was spam the Fallingstar hammer ash of war on everything. I’d much rather utilize a variety of cool abilities for different situations rather than stack four buffs and press L2 to win. You’ve earned a well-deserved sub

I use the dagger as a secondary weapon with that ability for staggering, I use the godskin greatsword as primary to deal MASSIVE damage with both crits and the ash of war. Try it out!
@@icwiffacee3288 I use radagon’s soreseal for +5 vigor endurance str and dex. With that equipped I have 40 vigor, 35 mind, 28 endurance, 22 strength, 38 dex, minimum int, 70 faith, minimum arcane. Level 155 prisoner class.

@@alfredandujar406 I’ve tried many by now but honestly this is by far one of the most destructive and fun faith build. Unfortunately I don’t have the patience to start over with a different character, level it all the way up and get the items and incantations all over again although I know it can get even better. It’s actually good to know that other people that tried this build out ended up with the same combination of stats/equipment/incantations, that means that it’s actually a viable build.
I did a black flame knight build a while ago, some of the most fun I've ever had in Elden ring, and over my playthroughs on that character I've consistently went back to it at least once per ng cycle to get me through the tough areas. Spell layout was exactly the same, talismans I used were Alexanders shard, fire Scorpion, Godfrey, and flocks. I used scaled armor, godskin hood (the thin one), banished knight gauntlets, and bull goats legs. Godslayer seal +25, guardian swordspear w/ black flame tornado, and the godslayer greatsword. This equip load was what I wore most recently in ng+5, so my endurance was quite high to handle the equip load, but if you wanted this without the high end, you could swap one of the seals for great jar talisman. Btw I say "quite high", but my level was 260 so it wasn't over 50.

I made a Flaminh Black Wolf Build which is just the black flame incantations and seal with Blaidd's armor set and the Godskin Peeler. I mainly put my runes into Dex and Faith but I've been experimenting with some spare Larval Tears and seeing what's best
I ran something like this late game on my first playthrough, but just went with the Black Knife to go along with the black flame incantations. The Blade of Death ash of war and black flame burn damage together literally melts any thing it touches

Still playing this build to this day it's just soo cold nothing has more drip in this game. I changed it a bit tho I'm running it with nagakiba + ash of war unsheathe and the dagger but flame of the redmanes got nerfed so I play it with bloodhound step. So I just dash around like a anime char and switch to my katana it's ash of war also staggers so I get the critical. Black flames op and noble presence is such a disrespect I'm literally throwing malenia into the air 😂😂 this build was my whole ER journey I literally played the game to get all those items the goal was this build and it was so worth it
From what I heard, you can put the flame of redmanes skill on standard and then infues your sword with black flame so when you use flame of redmanes, it becomes a black flame type fire
OK, so this is probably one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. I am a pretty new Elden ring player, so I’m not very good.. This looks very fun. I’d like to try it. I’m sure it’s not recommended for a newer player.
With this, Finally, I can become the Nazgul I have always wanted... One of the reasons this build it so powerful is because most of the enemies and bosses in elden ring is Faith based. Black flame melts them away like butter.

Love it!! Very cool. Definitely taking inspiration from this! I have been running something pretty similar but with more focus on armaments, specifically deaths poker and the black knife.
if you can use black flame blade on the Misericorde (dagger/sword thing that he uses) i recommend using it to buff your weapon. if you roll and cast the spell it will apply it on your weapon almost instantly. it would go well with the theme of the build (unfortunately it only lasts for about 10 seconds)

I have a very similar build but I'm using bloodhound step on that dagger and I have the Black Knife as well. I'm gonna have to pick up some of those talismans too. Such a fun build and surprisingly effective.
Flame of the Redmanes is so op that I've done a no hit run on Radagon with it on a +20 grave scythe 3 hits then critical rinse repeat and the fight was over so fast I captured the whole thing in a 3 minute video clip.
Whats really cool is that if you buff your weapon with black flame blade then use flame of the redmanes AoW it gains the black flame effect. Obviously this means you have to run a regular type of infusion on the weapon but still an interesting effect.
@@Xenoswarm its a quick cast but just too short of a buff unfortunately. I also recommend using Malikeths Sword if you don't feel like using Daggers Or use any weapon you like with a frostbite affinity for late game since black flame deals %hp dmg it works nicely with frostbite
