That is the best weather I have ever seen at the Summit.

I booked my flights 3 days before when I saw the weather forecast and still didn't think it would be that nice. We really got lucky weather wise. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

Awesome views and time! I really appreciate the commemoration at the end to his brother-God bless. I start in the morning though I’m spending a night at Lake in the Clouds.

Planning on traveling from Maryland to do this is two weeks. This video was very helpful. I'm packing the 10 essentails for sure. What was your bail-out plan if something happened or you had to shelter?

We really lucked out weather wise, but did have bivy sacks just in case. There are a few down routes you could use to bail out, but I think if the weather does start to get bad getting to one of the huts along the trail would be your best bet. The people running them are really cool and I know would be there to help in case of an injury or if bad weather rolls in. Have a great hike and just let me know if you have any other questions!

Great video I’m going to attempt this traverse this summer. Is it blue trail from start to finish? I notice the blue mark few times.

Yeah, there will be blazes marking most of the trail. Although in some sections it can a bit confusing, so just keep on the lookout for the larger cairns marking the trail. They are really helpful. Have a great hike and let me know if you have any other questions!

10 hours (sorry...9:59) is impressive. I did it backpacking and it took me 2 days.

"Boom whatever mountain you are?" Huh? If I were Jefferson or Eisenhower, I would feel disrespected.
