That 2:12 and 3:08 vocal growls from Boni and Lara really time warped me to the jazz era. The live version is amazing, it's like the built-up fatigue from the start of the week has vanished. You girls and your infectious energy are what the world needs right now.
DreamNote is *the* definition of the underrated group. Their dance skills are some of the best industry and their synchronization is consistently at the level you'd expect from a group like GFRIEND. Their group vocals are at level of some of the best in KPOP too! You can bet if they debuted under one of the large companies, they'd be smashing records left and right!! ❤❤
I like this rendition it sounds alot like the earlier works of Earth, Wind and Fire instrumentals. My only gripe is that they could have given more punch and jazzy licks to the bassline to fit the upbeat groove. No processing in the vocals, you can hear every popping sound whenever the lips changes form, no metallic sound, no overdub they did most of the secondary voice themselves and the track mixing is perfect from the rythm section's volume to vocal dynamics. Thank you @it's Live for having DreamNote, please invite them again next time since their pre-release track is much more vocal heavy.

GHOST will sound crazy with a live rythm section, i made a personal cover of the instrumentals and it sounded like early 2000's nu-metal/metalcore with the high gain distortion and a deep punching bass.

Oh, I love this! There's really no comparison to live vocals done well on stage!! The members looked like they were having fun singing and I'm so glad DreamNote is finally getting to participate in other music programs and get more exposure. This has been a fantastic comeback and though it was a long dry spell, it's been well worth it! DreamNote fighting!!! ❤🥰❤
