    Really loving your content. Been a card seller for half a year now and learning a lot of new things. Those card shipping shields are a game changer for me, much cheaper per unit than toploaders. I'll be placing a bulk order for those when they come back in stock on the 15th.

    Things I've learned
    1. Store foils in w.e sleeve upside down
    2. Fold penny sleeves over to ship
    3. Card shields are better for shipping
    4. Sort by set, alphabetical
    Questions
    1. When shipping do you use thermal labels(dymo label printer etc)
    2. Time to pull and ship 1x order? My Ebay stores inventory takes me 21 seconds to pull each order and 60sec to ship or less
    3. Do you play or collect any tcg?
    Thanks!

    • @Jameson11ink
      @Jameson11ink 2 года назад +1

      I guess another question
      I have cards ranging from dmg-nm and even the dmg sell for me on ebay. 1st ed dmg sdk blue eyes sold $125 free ship.
      Do you only carry nm?
      How do u photograph cards or do use general listings?

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  2 года назад +1

      I only carry NM. I'm far on the low end of the market, so selling damaged Deskbot 006 doesn't really make sense, to put it in a Yugioh perspective. Also, I don't photograph unless I'm selling elsewhere from TCGplayer. They just use general listings, and my cards aren't any different from other NM versions of the same card

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  2 года назад +1

      I do use thermal labels - I have a video about using a Dymo printer in fact.
      I haven't really tracked the time per order, because I'm getting 20, 30, 40 orders a day sometimes, not including the Direct orders. Your numbers sound right. I also pull all the orders in one step, then pack them in another step, which mixes up the time.
      I play Magic, and collect Magic. To an extent I collect Pokemon, and I suspect I will begin playing some in the next couple years as my kids get older. I also still have my Star Wars CCG collection from the 90s that I don't think I'll ever get rid of, but I'm not actively playing it

    • @Jameson11ink
      @Jameson11ink 2 года назад +1

      @@TCGBulkKings appreciate the reply! After asking questions and binging your videos u basically answer 99% of questions in videos. I really like how you re organized inventory based off the RI report by tcg player(don't understand the shipping order, 100x cards in a team bag) than tcg player ships out those cards accordingly
      Yeah makes sense on onky carry nm as you focus on the low bulk. I get some weird enjoyment out of sorting cards.
      I no longer collect any ccg and focused into complete in box super Nintendo games.

    Appreciate the content man! Had a quick question for ya, how do you recommend shipping say roughly 10 cards in a PWE? I've heard you say around 10ish cards can fit in card savers and things like that before but haven't found it on camera if I am missing it. Thanks and hope you have a good one, keep on doing what you do!

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  2 года назад +2

      For any order over 8 cards, but less than 17, I will use two shipping shields or two card holders, tape them together longways, and use a #10 envelope with an additional ounce stamp. Beyond 16 cards, I don't feel the cards are safe in PWE, so I will send first class parcel post

    I'm curious why you use graded card sleeves to ship with Shipping Shield vs team bags (which have a better fit)? Just what you have around to pack bulk 'bricks' or do they offer better water-proofing or something else?

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  2 года назад

      Eh, I don't like having to keep up with multiple similar products or supplies. I do pack up bulk and the bigger bags are good for that, also I used to use semi-rigid card sleeves, which fit better in the graded sleeves.

    I’m new to page your page I was wondering what’s your stance on eBay? Would you advise using it for selling bulk cards? I’m at a point where I try to use multiple platforms to send off a few orders at a time for different price rates

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  Год назад +1

      I know people who do sell bulk singles there, but there's a lot of automation that needs setting up to do so. The labor involved is much higher than for TCGplayer, the volume is similar, and the payouts are a little better. I personally prefer TCGplayer, but I can't say eBay isn't viable, it's just different

    How do you pack the orders that are over 20$? They need tracking right so how does that process differ?

    Thank you for the content! I do have a question! How many cards do the BCW graded card sleeves hold? I am in the market for a graded card sleeve that holds about 100 cards per graded card sleeve (if that even exists) or if you can suggest a graded card sleeve / team bag that can hold 100 cards. Thanks in advance! 🎉

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  2 года назад

      100 is right at the limit that they or the Ultra Pro graded card sleeves hold. I've not tried any others, since 100 is also what I look to cover, and BCW really do the trick. I've only split a couple when trying to put in 100.

      If 6 or fewer cards, 1 stamp. Up to 16 gets an additional ounce stamp. Beyond that I have to ship as a parcel

    • @lukethao88
      @lukethao88 2 года назад

      with that being said, paying the non-machinable fee is pointless?? as it totally sucks paying an extra .30 for that. have you had any issue shipping with regularly? cause im over here paying the stamp and non-machinable fee. takes alot of my $$.

  • @Jorthax
    @Jorthax Год назад +1

    Bulk or not, why are you using scotch tape?
    Everyone has to discard anything with tape residue on it because it's permanently tainted from that point.

    • @TCGBulkKings
      @TCGBulkKings  Год назад

      Residue doesn't stay behind on the cardboard protection, and the team bags/graded card sleeves are mostly disposable anyway. This is mostly a complaint about tainting toploaders, which isn't an issue here since I'm not using toploaders

    • @Jorthax

      @@TCGBulkKings
      I just find it strange since you've cited waste management as one resaon to move to the cardboard sleeves, but now they have to have the tape residue removed during the recycling process.
      By using scotch tape, you're practically eliminating any possible chance of any of those materials being re-used even once.
