My husband , Scott Kennedy aka "Wolf" was the drummer for the Fiddleworms from Muscle Shoals . He just passsed away in April unexpectedly... Jason's music is one of the blessings I have to remember Scott by. MANY wonderful memories and feelings comfort me while listening to Jason's music. Scott and Jason knew one another and Scott spoke very highly of this talented musical genius. Thank you Jason for your music and the healing its bringing me. Thank you, SL, for this interview... its awesome !! ❤✌️🤘🤘🥁🎶🙏

I am amazed when I see comments from Jason's fans on RUclips videos when they come to the realization that he is a liberal. Comments like"I don't like him now that he became "woke"". I guess they just never actually listened to his lyrics.

You’d have to be actively ignoring his lyrics to be surprised by his political views.

Wonderful conversation and insights into Jason’s soul and music. Most thoughtful songwriter out there right now. Lyrics always tell a tale or relate deep insights. And the music great too.

My dad is from N. Ala (N.E., Ala on the Ala/Tenn river across from Chattanooga, Tenn) and I lived there ‘till 2nd grade and still visit nowadays. Though much more rarely now that my aunt passed away. (My dad is the youngest of 11 as well as the last surviving sibling) We went to a little Church of Christ church, (near Russell Cave National Monument) my grandmother’s name was Ruby Opal and chocolate biscuits ‘n gravy is still one of my favorites. lol. I’m glad I was raised in Savannah, Ga for most of my upbringing cause it really opened my eyes being a more liberal place but I don’t think anywhere holds a candle to the beauty of the landscape there.
