Shoutout to that Mom that actually listened when you told her kid that Harlow was working. You could hear her in the background start to explain to them again that she was a working dog and they couldn’t pet her. I’ve just heard horror stories of people not respecting that and taking it personally like “why can’t you just let me pet her?” It’s nice to see an example of an interaction that could’ve gone either way but you handled it well and the Mom had the correct response to follow your lead. But most importantly, good girl, Harlow!
I live in the netherlands and people seem to be a lot more educated here. I've had a mom tell her kids: "no, look at your gloves, not at the dog". so perfect😂
I had a friend who was in the last few weeks of her life when she and her husband decided to take the two little boys to Disneyland. The doctor gave her the okay for everything but the wilder rides she loved. When they got there she looked at the rides, looked at her family and said, "What's the worst that can happen?" She threw off her wig and rode every ride in the park. Some twenty years later her kids still remember their mom's plucky attitude.
i get it jaquie! i visited disney world this summer for the first time since i was 7 (i’m 24 now) i have a heart defect so after riding the tower of terror and then rockin rollercoaster, i walked out and laid down on the concrete right by the exit for a good 10 minutes 😂 i have a pacemaker so it’s helps with keeping my heart rate down. i was DETERMINED to ride those rides and i did! so worth it!!
Girl you are such an inspiration, I'm so happy you are living life dispite the illnesses you endure. I'm proud of you showing the ups and down of our illnesses. Have a wonderful rest of your vacation I love seeing your smiles through everything.
❤️❤️that you are getting a vacation and getting to enjoy being with Judd. It makes me tearful seeing you both getting to do things that make you both happy! I’ve been here since your first v-logs 😂 and you’ve helped me through my stroke recovery with your positivity, keep moving forward!!
I live in the netherlands. Disneyland paris is a 6 hour drive away from me. We have an annual pass for disneyland paris. Last time i went i got a fever from exhaustion. I just got diagnosed with POTS and my doctor basically told me i can't go to disneyland paris anymore unless i make it a 3 day trip with 2 seperate days of travelling and only 1 day with actually going to disneyland. So like 1st day driving, 2nd day resting, 3rd day disney, 4th day resting, 5th day driving. This hit me pretty hard. I'm apperently so fragile. Pushing nyself too hard will make my condition worse, and doing anything outside the house is basically pushing myself too hard....
I am also from Nebraska. Hey Jaquie and Judd, You guys are so cool. I feel like i am part of your little family. I can live vicariously through you guys. Prime example of how I want to live with my chronic illness.
You are brave!! I don’t do roller coasters because I have sever motion sickness and you have all these chronic illnesses and go on rides. I’m impressed!! Hope you feel better.
Hi Jaquie! I love your videos! You have really opened my eyes to the life of a chronic illness warrior. Also, I stayed at that hotel for disney in 2015. It was amazing!
I made the mistake of going on a Star Wars ride when I went. Really hard jostling. Made me super dizzy and nauseous and I felt terrible the rest of the day.
i have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and i think i mights have POTS. Ive been starting to look into a service dog and while there are many good things about one i was wondering, what would you say are some harder aspects of having one?
I love these Disney vlogs! I've been to Disney World, but it's been 15 years since the last time I went. It still looks the same! Your videos make me want to go back, and I love watching how you handle the rides and your medications, etc. I used to ride roller coasters, but I don't think I could handle them anymore. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us! I want to run into you one day; that would be so cool! lol :)
I was wondering how you both would ride with having Harlow. I 5hink it is amazing that Disney offers a kennel for service dogs to go in while their handler is on the ride. I utilize the swap at great America for my service dog but if only myself and one other person we can't ride together. 🙁 Love your videos.
I have a port for my Cancer Treatments and it definitely wouldn't if it was not accessed. Ive never done much with it accessed since I'm always that the hospital so idk. ( I hope that answers your question)
there's no such thing as a dumb question. I would say if it was accessed it might not be the most comfortable just depending on how the restraints are and where they sit on you but it wouldn't bother you if its not accessed.
Hey Jaquie, Are you on Instagram anymore? I wanted to DM you a picture of a step stool to see if you think it would be appropriate for service dog body awareness exercises. -Suzy with guide dog Betty
Sucks that you get 1 minute of fun and then hours of flare. Chronic Illness at it's best, got "love" it. Thanks for the info about, sharps containers! Do all those blinking lights bother you?
Yes the short lived fun for long lasting repercussions can be frustrating :/ And not so much anymore since I have been seizure free so long. But I will close my eyes if needed.
I was wondering if there will be the option for you to meet tmartn he has a Golden and his name is cooper they also have a great pyrense named koda and cooper is a little crazy but. It would be super awesome to see my favorite Golden’s together playing 😂
Just wondering how all the flashing lights at Disney affects your epilepsy. I know your on treatment and are a few years seizure free but can it still be triggered by intense light?
have you considered a gorilla pod so you could affix it over your shoulder on your wheel chair so you dont have to worry so much about holding the camera etc?
I'm the same way when it comes to my back. I'd rather enjoy playing a little harder with my niece and nephew or go somewhere that I know where I'd be paying for it the next day, it's totally worth my pain. I'm glad you two are having an awesome vacation...you guys deserve it.
I’m going to be at Disney world for my 16th birthday in March it took me a month to convince my parents and I’m going with a friend my sister and my mom and I haven’t been to Disney in 8 years and I am so excited
I ate at the Yak and Yeti when I was there back in May, it was SO good! So much food it turned into 2 ½ meals for me 😂 I’m so glad you’re able to enjoy yourself without too many bad symptoms, and your trip is making me really miss Disney!
So, so, so happy for you guys are your vacation. Jacqui you are a light of happiness. Both of those rides are so fun. Remember your words ‘push through...and live’. You are blessed!
due to my undiagnosed issues I cant really travel/do anything exciting at the moment and tower of terror is my absolute favorite ride so it was kinda like i got to ride it for a second which was really nice.
Girl.. you are crazy brave !! I was down with you riding Tower of Terror BUT when you said you were going on rockin roller coaster I was like oh hell no .. I can’t even ride RR .. it’s way way too much ... oh I have been wanting to try Yak & Yeti!! Omg Judd & the monorail LoL my husband would be the same way lol
Great to see y'all enjoy your holiday!!!! Now that you mention oral intake that looks to be so much better?? Is that entirely down to the "Mary Jame"??
Question: what kind of symptoms did you deal with at the beginning of your gastroparesis journey? I've been dealing with lots of GI issues and I know everyone's situation is different. I was just curious. I'm glad you were still able to have fun regardless of your autoimmune issues, good for you! Some days I push thru to have fun and other days I stay low and rest.
Lots of puking and not being able to eat. But my GP was made much worse by my MCAS. Getting my MCAS under control has drastically improved all my GI issues.
Is the tower of terror really scary? I once queued up for it but ended up backing out😂 I want to go back to Disney but it would be the first time with POTS.
I’m getting a service dog soon hopefully , for some psychiatric disabilities but I’m getting one from a program so it says it could take up to 1-2 years ( usually sooner)to complete training after an interview then my fam has to travel to train with them and to take a PAT then the dog can come home. But I have to move before we apply we plan to move before 2019 hopefully or at least early 2019.
No Way! Kelly is from Nebraska????? Me, too! Cool! Judd found a neat toy. :) Y'all are craycray! You could not get me on a roller coaster! But glad you had fun on them. :) Looks like Judd needs a pair of driving gloves. (Xmas gift idea).
Love you Jacquie thank you for sharing your beautiful life you and Judd and Harlow are awesome love all three of you it's always good to see you having a good time nice shirt with a great phrase your a fighter Jacquie iam so proud of you
I love to see you having such a great time! I personally was never a fan of scary rides. I avoid them even as a person without chronic illness. Good for you, though. It looks like you're doing fabulous on this vaca!
So i have severe eds and other diseases. I am thinking of getting a service dog and was wondering if you had any advice for me? I am currently without an abdominal wall so they cant put a peg in yet and i currently sleep in a hospital bed.
I really doubt it. I don't know if would be an issue of whether or not they could use her blood. It would probably be more harm to her to lose that volume of blood with her POTS and syncope issues
She might mean the different theme park sections of Disney World. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. There are other large attractions/parks outside of Disney-- Universal, Sea World, a few others.

Sometimes the risk is definitely worth the reward. If you didn't take the risk you may regret not doing it, live life to the fullest.

catching up on your diesney adventure while having hot spiced wine. it's a nice evening plan. Glad you get to have a fun vacation!

Looks like fun vacation and family time!
That looked like a lot of fun! nice setup for the animals.
I wold be like. "I'm working please don't touch" u handled it well
I made the mistake of going on a Star Wars ride when I went. Really hard jostling. Made me super dizzy and nauseous and I felt terrible the rest of the day.
Looked like sooo much fun!!!!! I got on the tower of terror for the first time a few months ago ended up taking a nap right after. 🤣🤣
Jacquie Judd Harlow, you inspire still! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 🙌🏼🙌🏼. 💪🏽💪🏽 🏆🏆
i have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and i think i mights have POTS. Ive been starting to look into a service dog and while there are many good things about one i was wondering, what would you say are some harder aspects of having one?

I rode tower of terror it wasnt fun for me but rockin rollercoaster has always been one of my faves
We went to Disney and we also stayed at shades of green

Omg, I really want that toy monorail. What did the call it on the box? I want to see if I can find it on Ebay.
I was wondering how you both would ride with having Harlow. I 5hink it is amazing that Disney offers a kennel for service dogs to go in while their handler is on the ride. I LOVE the Shades of Green. It’s SO beautiful 😍
I’m not sure why I laughed so hard at Judd waiving goodbye to us with his monorail😂😂. Looks like it was a great day....so glad y’all are having fun!!
Awe yak and yeti is one of my favorites
I think the next adventure you and Judd and Harlow should do is the Calgary Stampede in Calgary Alberta Canada
This might be a dumb question but Does riding a roller coaster with over the shoulder restraints irritate your port? I ask because I also have a port.
I have a port for my Cancer Treatments and it definitely wouldn't if it was not accessed. Ive never done much with it accessed since I'm always that the hospital so idk. ( I hope that answers your question)

I have a legging haul video!

Not really anymore. They can disorient me if it is extreme and lasts a while but I can always close my eyes.
Might also be mast cell. I get nauseous just watching some of those clips. Lol
I love that Judd was laying there with his monorail lol. I love trains too. Looks like you guys had fun :)
What helps your port on roller coasters. I have a port too.
have you considered a gorilla pod so you could affix it over your shoulder on your wheel chair so you dont have to worry so much about holding the camera etc?
That is a good idea, I will look that up!
For years I've been telling people that hotel ride was Haunted Mansion, I totally forgot it's the Tower of Terror lol.

Im glad you are enjoying life. ❤️
Is the tower of terror really scary? I once queued up for it but ended up backing out😂 I want to go back to Disney but it would be the first time with POTS.
