- A BRAND NEW AGCO Challenger?!
We took delivery of a BRAND NEW AGCO Challenger MT743 today that AGCO and Ziegler Ag Equipment sent us!! We will be demoing the tractor throughout harvest and you will get to see a lot of it over the next few weeks! We also emptied the bottom of a grain bin and did some harvest preparation.

AGCO were really the guys that brought the variable transmission successfully to the market. Looking foward to hearing ur opinion especially on the engine.

I have had the opportunity to drive both modern John Deere and AGCO products. I have always found that the Deeres have a better user interface and control layout, as well as better creature comforts, but the CVT from AGCO is the best transmission in existence. A true pleasure to drive.
It's always exciting when you get a new piece of machinery. When we got the Case 485 that I drive most of the time I was like a kid in a candy store. Can't wait to see this thing in action. Thanks for the video.

I operated a couple of early model Cat Challengers in Western Australia for a couple of years and they were excellent tractors. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how good that MT743 is.
We used to run a 2004 MT765 Challenger a few years back, was a rattly old beast but pulled well and sounded brilliant. The new AGCO challengers look like they have come on leaps and bounds, so much more refined and up-to-date.

I’m just as much of a die hard bleeding green John Deere owner as you are,but I have to admit it that looks like it has a lot of nice features to it.I like the color to,looking at it is kind of like looking at a big Caterpillar engine.
a company near my house owns a challenger, they put a blade on the front of it so it totally looks like a caterpillar xd
CAT used to own the Challenger brand back in the 1980’s to early 2000’s. CAT sold some in CLAAS colors over sea’s just what AGCO’s doing with the brands this year he said in the video.

Plus it’s a Minnesota built tractor so it only makes sense to give the MN Millennial Farmer one try after the awesome video he did of the AGCO plant tour! I am excited to here how much he is going to love it!!
I have to totally agree with you Millennial Farmer the Challenger colours look way better then the Fendt colours! That green and red rims is for the people across the pond. The Challenger colours are more North American colours!

@@BRPFan yeah your probably right. I just thought it would be ashamed that two companies finally used, in my opinion, great common sense by their choice in using Zacks farm. And it's a win win ... they get free advertising and honest feedback on their product and Zack in return gets a chance to demo something he's been tossing around as maybe a future purchase, so the company may even get a sail out of it also and if he doesn't decide to keep it, at least it'll have few hours but the tractor looks will be brand-new still. Taken care of as far as the way it was operated and generally maintained and also just general appearance and upkeep. Probably slept inside almost every nite. And I can bet money it was washed more than once so I'm saying barely even used. And I'm still counting on it never leaving again except for the chance you decide to get a model a size different but except for maybe that... I'd say it's home!!

Used to run a Challenger set up spreading bio-solids on farmland over here in the midwest. As far as my experience goes; they're a good machine. Excited to see future footage of this 'space ship'!! Definitely a bit more sophisticated looking than the one I used to run around on!

I worked at AGCO from 2002-2006, and was an analyst for the Challenger and AgChem lines. It's been years since I even thought about this stuff, but it was a nice little trip down memory lane.

I like watching all the tractors you have on tracks. My family never had those when I was growing up. Now im a city boy and havnt been on one of the family farms in years so your videos also bring back a lot of memories. Honestly the videos kinda make me sad I didnt stay with the old school family past time. Love the videos, keep on keeping on!

I'm a Deere guy myself, and when I sat in one of these at the last farm show I was impressed with the visibility, which goes a long way in the overall feel of it.

I can tell by those boogies that it hinges first on top of the middle than it pivots a second time between 2nd and 3rd boogies...... That fan reversing every now and again is a great innovation...
i love how agco has put all the Fendt tech into all there tractors now , stuff you could get on a fendt 15 years ago is now standard across all the agco lines , you should have a nice fendt for your place , youd love it!

I like it! Doesn’t matter the color or loyalty as long as it does the job and is cost effective with the features you want when you need it. Great idea to put that unit into the hands of you guys to compare it to Deere regardless of the outcome. Can’t wait to see some results!

I'm stoked to know more about the tractor. I use to work for John Deere wouldnt mind testing one out myself. I like the fact their USA made
and I like the fact, that all the goodies (like cvt, monitor, joystick) were designed by Bavarian engineers.

of course not! however many fendt employees appearing in official videos talk with the accent that is typical for the region where the fendt HQ is located at.
