The interviews you do with all the operators are always good & what I believe makes the video. I appreciate each of them for sharing their time with us. Billy’s interviews & information are second to none & he sure doesn’t cut that tractor any slack, lol. Great Video !!
Billy is full speed ahead. I have watch him plow with a Ford 861 at the same speed 😁👍 I think the farmers can always add more detail than I can from the specs.
I know some guys that used a disk like that for fall tillage for several years, they turned the fields into swamps from the pan it created. Took several years of deep inline ripping to repair it
My bosses used a John Deere 9220 with a John Deere 1060 48' Field Cultivator for a seed bed. For planting wheat, they used a John Deere 8770 with a John Deere 455 35' Grain Drill.
U make great videos I really enjoy the one from Garnnet farms they really are a hard act to follow great farmers Thanks u keep making video an I will keep watching
Amazing disc setup, it’s like the weeds were never there. Nice to hear the operator comment though I think they are a little camera shy. Was that the owner of that farm?

Thats a combo that i'd like to have for breaking land after i clear it. But older, with pto, a 3306 and no emmisions. And my old rome breaking disk behind it. No flat tires that way, put a dozer on the front and be set up.
So what will they do after disking as it applies to planting oats? Will they harrow or do something to prep seed bed then drill in the oats? or will they spread the oats and work it in?
Thank you for your video! Very impressive disk! Will they harrow it down a little before planting? I'm always interested to learn about all the different farming steps.
Really enjoyed this video Billy was very informative on what he likes about the machine in the tool he is using and what he does and why he does how he farms! My only question is do they use a self-propelled sprayer or a pull Pipe sprayer they would pull behind one of the tractors
@@bigtractorpower I love these big 2 tracks when they're set wide. They look so powerful. Very interesting to see the new Fendt with the CVT... we get very little of these tractors here in the UK unfortunately. BTP feeds the addiction for these machines... Thumbs up from England!
That Fendt will be nice. Why no JD twin tracked machines though, especially since everything else is JD? Or why not all AGCO equipment? Those disks are very impressive every time I see one work.
Yes I just featured no till wheat seeding last week into corn stalks in this video m.ruclips.net/video/nQJRYAYyLSQ/видео.html The first no till field ever was planted in 1962 5 miles from where the Challenger was working. No till is big here in Kentucky.
how do they stuff a v12 in this tractor if you eveer get a chance please show this not saying you are wrong it just looks like a v12 would not fit in my mind do not want this to sound negative so please reword this post so it does not sound negitive
In order to break down the residue and return it to the soil the disk flips over the corn stalks to bury them and create a new seed bed. Corn stalks can cart disease that will hurt the wheat being planted so the farm clears the field before seeding.
This farm has 3 Deere 9620RX with 34ft Wisheks also disking and 4 9420Rs 26ft Wisheks. They were in a 1,200 acre field the day I filmed this. The 9 tractors disk 11,000 acres together. Using the same GPS pairs then together.
@@bigtractorpower Makes sense , I commented before I saw he also ran Deere's 😅 , tho here in UK I see lots of newhollad , JCB , fendt etc but all have a Deere GPS put on , even if they don't run Deere's , wonder are they more accurate 🤔
BTP, a good video of course, but I like to bring to attention--in the most humble way I know how about all these world leaders trying to come up with measures to combat carbon emissions so as to stop climate change--which personally I feel that its all baloney. At any rate what are we all going to do. By that I mean will the government for example come up to farmers and tell them what type of equipment they are to use and will the government limit choices on how a farmer works his land. Thats only a couple of examples. I keep worrying that our future freedoms can be restricted, and over a science that I feel is questionable. Not likely anything about all this will come immediately, but what about five to ten years from now. I think farmers all over should have a heads up about this. A lot of them will want to see their children and grandchildren follow in their footsteps carrying on their farming operations. Future generations will want to operate their farms freely. At any rate thanks for showing a good video.
It’s interesting that tracked crawler type tractors were very common in the, what, ‘40s and ‘50s, then pretty much went away until the late 20th Century, and have made a massive comeback for larger tractors, combines, and grain carts.
Herb, Agco should have stayed with Offering the Powershift as a Option just like every other Manufacturer has, those Powershifts have been Bulletproof Transmissions for 45+ Years. Agco has Lost A LOT of Customers over the years and Killed A LOT of Tractor Brand Names and Models.
