    based on your review i will purchase this at home depot tomorrow. i see reviews online but i don't trust them. when i see it in a video like yours it becomes believeable. thanks for the posting. you ought to see my yard this year when i am done. it is going to be beautiful 1.25 acre and i bought over a 1000.00 worth of flowering bushes. i like to showboat my yard. just purchased the house back in September. it had no landscape. i had winter rye grass and it was top notch. but it will die out over the next four weeks. the yard had no one piece of shrubbery. thanks again!!!

      I’ve been watching a lot of how to videos on building a deck and I’ve noticed a lot of you tubers say they’re gonna show you how to do something but that’s all they do is put it in time lapse and say nothing. Can’t hear anything either.
      Sometimes I’d watch an hour long video if they’re giving instructions and information.
      Thank you for your feedback. It helps me make a better channel. Better content for y’all. I’m glad this video gave you what you wanted. To hear it work. Have a great weekend 👍😁

    Didn't realize this one was a thing. I bought the 40v attachment cultivator. Didn't completely break up the dirt but did manage to tear up all the grass. The dirt is incredibly compressed and hardened. I'm sure this one would tear through like nothing. My main issue is... The power chord. I have a 100ft cable but that's kind of annoying. I have a few 40v 6ah batteries. So even if all died, that just means a rest period for me.

    • @VansWorld

      My yard is really hard too. I tried metal detecting in my yard and gave up because it was too hard to dig in. It was like they added gravel to the soil lol. The only issue I have with the cord is having to put it away when I’m done lol. I let my neighbor borrow it yesterday and he loved it. I bet you’d like it too. It’s my top favorite tool.

      @@VansWorld Thanks and I put it together today and gave it a test run, my ground is a little more solid than yours but it will eat through, just will take a bit more time. The machine runs nice, not too loud and easy to control/handle. It does want to jump away from you if it catches a rock or a root so my advice is to always keep a firm grip on it.

    I just put mine together and this thing is powerful. The only thing, there's no way to throttle the power, it's got one speed (fast) and it tends to drag me along with it. 8” is the max so the other 2 would be less. My guess is 5” and 3”. Or somewhere close to that. I used mine this past weekend for a flower bed. The other 2 settings didn’t help me any. I had it on the deepest setting. Maybe the most shallow would be for smoothing the surface?

    • @VansWorld
      @VansWorld  3 года назад +4

      It’s doing great. My driveway was lower than my lawn so I tilled up the lawn going down the driveway. First I started with a hoe and a shovel. Too slow and too hard. Then I tried a high pressure hose end to blast the dirt down. Too slow. Then I tried the tiller. I went down the driveway tilling the higher lawn. Then shoveled it into a wheelbarrow and placed it in low spots in the yard and holes in the yard. It worked like a champ. Even when o hit the driveway it kept on going. The tines are pretty hard. They don’t show much wear even after hitting asphalt. And it cleans up great. Just hit it with a water hose. Comes clean pretty quick. Hey thanks for the question. I hope this helps. I really “dig” this little machine.

    Would you do a video reviewing the 13.5 amp Ryobi Cultivator? I’m curious if the extra amps is worth it.

      I would but my wife would hang me out to dry if I bought another one before we got the upstairs remodel lol.

      My second year now. I just tilled up a huge landscape around my mailbox that’s 13 feet quarter round. My neighbor borrowed it today to till up a spot 15’ x 5’. He loved it. He said the best part was not having to crank it lol. Just squeeze the trigger and go. It’s one of my top favorite tools.

    Fast forwards the video when machine finally in operation but never during his endless rambling

      Thank you for the feedback. I try not to ramble. I fast forward the operation because I didn’t think anyone would want to watch 10 minutes of tilling. If there is something you’d want to see. Just ask and I will see about making a video on the topic. 😁
