Considering the fact that 17, 18 ,and especially 16 didn't even fight a whole lot, they did very well on the androids movesets. I remember in Budokai 17 and 18 had pretty bare moves.

His shield could've been like a defensive option to protect 18 and where's his double energy ball attack? And don't get me started with his barrage of attacks that he did against Piccolo and was his signature skill in the RB games...
Dbfz's timing is a little unfortunate, since 17 just very recently got a lot of footage in dbs, and it was good stuff too. Hopefully in future builds theyll make him his own character and flesh out 18 more. But they did amazingly with all the androids, who admittedly dont have a lot of source material

Wrong. She's never done it in the manga, anime, or movies. Though only give it to her in the games because she didn't have much of a moveset so they copied it from 17 while ignoring him.
I hope you can switch between 17 and 18 on the character selection screen like the Ice Climbers in Smash. Even if he's just a color swap I'd like to play as 17.
Same here. I love how they made them as 1 single character since they´re basically the male and female version of each other, but on the other hand I really hope they put #17 as playable and #18 as the secondary character.
Can't do it as a color swap because then 17 would have tits. And they can't do skins because of all the hand editing and frame by frame animation. Things like clothing are animated by hand on a frame by frame basis and even the model skeleton is hand animated on every frame with no inverse kinimatics or in betweening (it's similar to animating a claymation model). They even go through and edit the normals (normals control the lighting direction for each triangle in the model) on every frame by hand. If they change even one part of the model geometry they have to go through and redo everything and at that point they might as well just make a new character.
I actually appreciate you explaining that. I'm happy with what ArcSys is doing but I always wondered _why_ is wasn't that easy t make new characters, y'know? Especially since I see all the fan-made models for street fighter.

That's from The History of Trunks when 17 and 18 team up to fight Gohan and 18 goes in to trip him. 3:58 is also shown in The History of Trunks when 17 and 18 get serious and attack Gohan at once right before he tries to run away and gets blasted to death.
Just only one thing was missed. When 17 and 18 were punching together for their special that was taken from Future 17 and 18 vs Future Gohan right before they killed him.
I saw Evolution in the goddamn cinema theater, alongside a bunch of dragon ball fans on premiere day and we were dissing the hell out of it at the end. It was kinda hilarious. As for the movie itself I blocked it out from my mind.

Let's imagine for a moment: If they implement special animations for moments that actually happened in the manga. For exemple, if you K.O Vegeta with 18 using her kick move, and there's a special animation triggered in which Vegeta's arm gets broken. HOLY SHIT that would be spectacular!
Now that the game is out anybody else notice there are numerous alternate colors for the characters shown in early betas,that never made it to the final game.
I honestly think that they have similar poses and moves only cause you can switch them off with like a setting or costume, there has to be alt costumes for famous looks in this game honestly

That character is in a more recent Arksys fighter called Under Night In-Birth, her name is Eltnum in that game. Not 100% why Arksys gave her a notable normal from another character from a different Arksys game tho

Yes you are correct. But the animations themselfs were covered before in the same video.

SentsuizanXS at 2:50 you can see androids 18 and 17 have colors that never appeared in the final release.
& funny enough one of 18’s old Beta colors was a reference to her outfit with the Pearl Necklace. Why they took it out I have no idea.
