Did the same two months ago with my Monstera V., but still left every cutting inside the moss.
I did it for two reasons. First, the top of the plant turned nearly complete green (this is the only part I removed from the pole), so I wanted a reshoot at the more variegated parts.
Second, I wanted a more lush appearance.
And it worked so well! The plant gave me eight beautiful variegated reshoots and starts climbing again.
    Thanks for your amazing input.

Quick question...don't you find moss so much easier to remove when it is wet? Because I do, but I never hear anyone suggest wetting it first as a way to protect the roots. Or is it just me that thinks this? Anyhow, I love your videos, I learn so much and I really enjoy the educational part of plant videos. Thanks so much friend!

I have been working in the wind for the last three days putting up about 400 foot added fencing on top of my origional fencing to keep my new very small rescue dog safely in my yard. First day of this second round of fencing was all done under trees. The efforts of fencing and first cutting back shrubbry so I could work along that fence line and the cold wind has exhausted me. So glad it is raining with possible snow later today. My 73 year old body is screaming at me for a break.
That is a nice looking plant. I have sent offmany plants over the last year and am also enjoying the less cluttered look. I still have a lot of plants. More than enough. LOL

Don't know how you managed to keep so clean inside. I had this issue for a bit, after a few waterings you start to learn how much each pole will
Take without putting water into the the outer cache pot, i still let it go all the way through once very week or two though, because the pot does need water as well! Then I empty the cache pot. I have actually stopped using any very fine particle substrate in my mix at all. Its just a mix of bark, coco chunks, pumice, perlite, zeolite, lava rock and bit of activated carbon. I think its more akin to growing hydroponically to in soil tbh. Works tho.

I haven't tried them so can't speak from experience but I can't see how this could possibly be more efficient than just flipping a bottle upside down :P

I have never seen a large one so might be that they don't really mature much
