Congrats on that!! Were you using movers previously? Curious how your work flow will change with the new ones. I’m super interested at their price point but I’m a dummy and bought 4 used movers just last year 😅
@@djhikevinhey Kevin. I currently use 2-4 Chauvet Intimidator spot 375zx on a wolfmix. They are great but limited on venues without haze. I will probably add these washes with 2 spots for a wedding or all 6 fixtures for bigger proms. All about that free99. Enjoy the night! Best JB!
@@jonathanberube5056 we have 4 chauvet 355z's, they all kinda just fell into my lap and wanted the easy programming since we use showexpress. really interested in those standalone lighting controllers as we grow. totally feel you on the haze and the free99 tho 🤣 Enjoy your week brother
Power conditioners must be a US thing. In the UK we find a socket, plug our extension lead in and away we go. Never had an issue in 30 years. Maybe the voltage fluctuates a little over there 🤷♂️
I did that for years too with a way smaller rig, but it very well may be a US thing. some venues are really good about maintaining their power while others are... not 😂 thats sort of the problem is that you never know what you are going to get so you have to prepare for the worst. 30 years without problems, I'm a little jealous not gonna lie! Tell us all your secrets !
The sketchiest power outlets I ever encountered were at Knowlton Mansion in PHL My plug actually fell right out of the outlet when I plugged it in😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I remember using a Guitar Center power conditioner for a club gig where they had 2 or three power strips daisy chained from their kitchen, and BAM: surge protector took a hit and saved my gear 🤣 I wanna shout out Ben Stowe for putting this video out 5 years ago because he takes apart a power conditioner and a house-level power strip/surge protector, and this tear down 100% convinced me to go Furman power conditioners for life lol Check out his tear down here: ruclips.net/video/9ry30HbJblg/видео.html
Also also, for all my DJs who do bar/club gigs in spots with janky power, I HIGHLY recommend Furman's AC 215A power conditioner. It's a suuuuuper tiny power conditioner you can bring with you anywhere. It's like nearly 50% off in a lot of places online right now (So about $100).

We are from NEPA and got to Love the Barn weddings!!
LOVE me some barn weddings, but also love some big ass ballroom weddings too 😎
Thanks for the videos pickup battery tester and outlet tester. We got plenty of suspect outlets in Jersey.
Maddd sus in NJ. One venue in particular was on my mind with the “around the corner” outlet if you can guess it 😂
that outlet tester is clutch --- great tip
Actually suggested by Demand, totally forgot to give him credit 😔
Great thumbnail and title! I wanted to find out what these products were and I don't even DJ 😂
Lighting guys could use this too 😬😂
Great work. I’m gonna pick up the outlet tester. Gotta test before I try out those free movers Ricky Webb is sending over.

Great tips. What part of PA are you in? We work out of the Hershey area.
I live in York! I used to work for a company out of Harrisburg before I moved to SCE. I was actually just downtown Harrisburg Saturday night too!
