What is Katakana for? and Kanji? - ひらがな＆カタカナ＆漢字

What is Katakana for? How about Kanji? Today, I'm going to answer questions about Japanese letters. We have three different writing systems in Japanese. ひらがな Hiragana, カタカナ Katakana, 漢字 Kanji. Why do we need to use all of the three? How come Hiragana alone is not enough?
