Hey Christopher! I use ''Fade Tool click zones'' option in ''general settings/ editing''. Any reason you do not use it? Also double click with Marquee tool cuts a region at that point, so I barely use Scissors unless I need a multiple split. Cheers!
Thank you Christopher, I'm on Logic and I purchased the Komplet 14, not much experience with NI! However, I find kontakt very complicated, especially in terms of automation in midi, in fact, I have no control over expression and modulation in Logic! which is very annoying, you will agree to "energize" the productions... could you, please, give me tutorials as clear and effective as yours?! I'm more used to Logic's spitfire plug-in and native instruments, the Kontakt environment is rather disturbing for me! Thank you for your help, best regards
Hey there, thanks for the question! So Kontakt works similarly to other independent sample players - if you have your MIDI controller connected properly, you should be able to access modulation with your modwheel, sustain with the sustain pedal, and so on. It just depends on where the parameters are mapped in the specific library you're using.
@@ChristopherSiu Hi, thanks for your quick response :) Ah, so the problem is that I don't know how to connect the midi controller (To tell the truth, I don't even know what it is!) outside of Kontakt, all the main automations that I use (velocity, modulation, expression) work perfectly in the piano roll without me needing to do any midi controller programming action or anything!!!... All this is a complete mystery to me and saddens me because I would like to use Kontakt more and more (not only do I find the sounds really interesting but I also have Spifire libraries that play in it), ultimately, I don't understand not how to use it correctly...
Thanks for everything you do Christopher!
My pleasure!
Very useful! So, this is a bit of a teaser for your new Logic Pro course? I'll check that out - Thanks!
Haha yessir! I hope you enjoy it :)

Thanks for sharing! Sometimes I use that too! :)
