Of all the houses I have seen in this channel, this is by far my most favourite. I love the Belle Epoque style of the building. I also love the flow from room-to-room. It looks lived in, warm, and so cozy.
The coordination and combination of colors are what I most associate with being French. It seems they're the only ones who make them have the intended effect. Tasteful and unfussy but with a domestic tranquility and elegance. Strong claim; I realize, prove me wrong.

This is a lovely property - needs a bunch of work inside, such as taking out the cheap doors used on bathroom carveouts. Would have been great to see inside second house. Don't they ever show unrenovated for sale? TY for these uploads.

This is what I want,
I want the ENTIRE world to speak the same language.
It can be English, french, Spanish, etc.
But 1 language, you change the road signs, all signs, books, everything I one language.
Hopefully, all people WILL speak the same language.
It is rude to speak a different language when the group is speaking another. It creates paranoia and distrust. You are hiding something.

Uniformity how boring!! 😁 Whether you like it or not, great cultures and civilisations were born from the mixtures of differences and mutual influences. My kids and I speak between 4 to 6 European languages. Expecting a foreign country to speak your own language is simply arrogant. Get real!!
Francine, you are right. I am just saying it would be easier. So there would not be any miscommunication. Now, Francine, when I come over to France, don't get the country being nasty to me. I am an old lady. The language could be french. My makeup and clothes are french. Orlane and Christian door.
I do not like Edwardian/Victorian styles generally - too much heavy woodwork, but I noticed one very interesting thing - one staircase that was in this house was obviously from a prior era.....very dainty & it tells me this house was a conversion at some point from a much older home. I wonder what the history is ? Thanks for the tour !

Lovely exterior, but however I think the interior needs a lot of love and care to restore it to its former glory. I also would have liked to see the interior of the second home as well.

Sinks in bedrooms in France is pretty common. Especially common and convenient if using it as a Bed & Breakfast. I wouldn't mind it. You could always disguise it or cover it up.
