That’s really something that you have the maturity to stop and honestly evaluate what that person said and understanding it wasn’t ANYTHING personal about you or your channel!!!
Then, you put hours and hours of work to be sure you gave as much information as you possibly could without working on it for a week or more.
I know you just offered the best and most informative information for me as an individual who is (and has been) contemplating about purchasing MH watercolors. You offered such great comparison to companies that are most common with people who like watercolor.
I, for one, want you to know that I noticed all of these things and applaud you for your maturity, your caring, your kindness😮 and generous , kind spirit!!
Thank you for the time and effort you spent to create and edit this video.
There’s not much information I have been able to find in video form. I keep checking and just “blown away “ by this one.
At least I know a couple of MH paints I definitely will buy. It’s funny because I am also buying some Sennelier!!!😊. which wasn’t even on my radar.
I’m am now super SUPER duper impressed by you!
PLEASE know you are definitely appreciated also!
    Nancy Rolfe
I’m 63 and know people my age that aren’t able to do what you did when you read the person’s comment!! I didn’t read it (I rarely read any) I’m just assuming it was abrupt but not mean or rude.
    Just still amazed!!

Never knew a colour like bright green is so interesting until someone swatches it out.

Thank you for comparing the paint to other brands it was so helpful 🌺 I'm so in love with vivid blue 😍 it's a bit costly to order from Jackson's at the moment but I'll definitely get this color in the future when I will be able to order 💙

Roman Szmal has a colour called Misty Morning, that is a lot like Michael Harding’s Moonlight. 😊❤

I hope that you don’t feel bad really. Doing a service of just letting others see the swatches in itself is kind. If people really have an interest in his lineup all the pigment information is available to anybody and they are just as capable of looking it up. Google can if tell one if it is lightfast etc. It is sad to me because in general it reflects much of the attitude in the world. Here you don’t sell his product so you can handle your channel how you would like. I already researched his pigments and some are beautiful but I am not overwhelmed by them, no offense. I do need lightfast pigments and Michael feels ,which is his right, that It isn’t always necessary or may be overrated. His Lapis Lazuli is lovely but the public in general is not going to care when they see my paintings. It’s sad to me the amount of commercialism the can easily put artists into debt. There are already beautiful pigments out there and the handmade hoopla will pass especially when one knows how to mix and create exactly what they do. So no I wouldn’t let this bother you, it’s your choice to share what you find of value and artists can easily access the rest. With so many swatching channels perhaps knowing exactly what certain pigments might exceed at would be beneficial, obviously the granulating ones will not appeal to a artist who paints flowers and uses non granulating, excellent glazing pigments but maybe those can be used in the background. That would be helpful. Share your work and exploration and others can look it up. Your job isn’t to sell for companies. Enjoy what you take and use and that is what others will appreciate. 😊

This was a fun and super helpful comparison!! Thank you so much for doing this. I noticed you don't have Qor. My all time favourite Indigo is by Qor, PB15:3, PBk7, PV19. The colour just calles to my soul!! LOL So inky and moody even when it dries. It is also quite active wet in wet and shoots out the most magnificent electrifying bolts and patterns. It also stays that way when dried; unlike some paints that tend to blur out as they dry. The option to smooth them out is there but I adore them so often just keep them. Thank you again so much for sharing!!! xoxo

Very useful, thanks. There is little information around on these paints beyond swatching, which is frustrating. The paint is good value but because the tubes are large they are a significant investment, so I’m waiting for information before making final decisions on colours. You are saving me a fortune, thank you!

Thanks for your insight to the Michael Harding watercolour selection. I was wondering if I should make an investment, and I might go with your advice and just try a couple when they next come up on sale

This video is so great! Thank you very much for these swatches and comparisons. They are so new and there are not so many artists in youtube making reviews about this brand right now. So thank you very very much :) I should not get more watercolours but... ;)

If you can get on Jackson’s and can access the paints, definitely buy them…they’ve locked out US and Canada, which sucks…but I got a few before that…the cerulean is amazing and while I have 100s of tubes, there is just something special about them…I did ask on instagram if they would be available for us soon, and they did say they would be soon!

Belladonna seems to match Daniel Smith's Cabazole Violet (R.S.) -PV23.

Really curious how the MH paints work in a painting and if there is any advantage to using them over other brands.

I don’t have MH paint but I think it would look just like other brands . Unless the brand has a particular special characteristic ( which the company will advertise ,for example, Qor’s fast flow rate) I suspect most of them would feel the same to use. However, if you’re interested in any colors from MH, take advantage of the current jacksons sale.

I don’t think there is an advance over other brands as such it all comes down to personal preference … they work just as well as any other professional brand of paint I’ve used … the previous video I did on these paints shows a demo painting as well if you wanted to see that
