How can you accurately measure them? You can’t use a standard tape measure for accuracy

Freeze a glass of water ins8de a tensor ring and you will see the Tensor toroidal field manifest.

I use a steel ruler and measure the twisted strand when it is straight. I cut to size with a junior hacksaw and file the ends until correct length achieved. I can get better than 0.25 of a mm.
