  • We're going to show the process of sanding body filler with an 8" dual action orbital sander using 40 grit sandpaper. The key to using a orbital sander is to move fast and criss cross the pattern while holding it flat 🔥

    We are all measured by our results! That 8" DA is quite a machine. Seeing how it performs in the hands of a master is inspiring.
    Some of the comments I read seem to bemoan how much sanding there is to be done. I guess they didn't see you drop and give 50 on your birthday.
    I know Chad is up to the task. You get more results in one hour than many others do in a day.

    Love watching the RUclips content, you see so much m more. The TV show was 5% work, 5% fabricated drama, 90% you didn't get to see. On RUclips you get to see 80%+ of the work and what you don't see is just the repeat from side to side. Well done Chat and Jolene

    I learnt a long time ago when I was an apprentice materials are cheap don't try to skimp on them, man hours cost more than materials! Load it up n get'r done!!

    This man is an absolute artist and thanks to queen Jolene on the camera, we get to see his talent. They are both gifted and talented artists.
    This reminds me of when back in the day when they used clay to sculpt the body of cars before they built them.
    Very very very few people on this planet can do or even imagine what Chad does.
    He’s like a professional athlete. Everyone dreams about something like this but Chad and Jolene are literally living their dream. 👍 Nice work. Both of you are amazing at what you do. BTW when are you going to get married?

    Enjoy watching videos. It's nice to see someone not doing the norm. I have some experience with cars. Graduated from WyoTech with honors. Some local community college also.
    I miss working on cars. Wife has been ill for the last three years. I have moved my priority to be with my wife for now.
    I still have my first car - 55 Chevy 2dr and a hand full of AMC's. Thanks

    Currently doing some mud work myself. I personally do a lot of blocking by hand because a machine can remove to much too quickly. Also starting to realize in not putting enough on I end up with 3 or 4 layers in places. Thanks for the tips and knowledge. Enjoy watching your creative mind at work.

    I haven't been on here for a couple of days but damn Chad your one awesome dude!!!!!! love how the ride is coming out you,Ayden,and Jolene are some bad ass fabricators and welders you given me a lot of knowledge on somethings I wanted to do with my 2 projects and how to do them simpler as a couple of fellow custom builders are helping me out with getting the tools and welder and stuff that was stolen from my shop you gave me the ambition to get back to what I love to do and been doing since 1983 but thanks again Chad and one day I hope to meet you in person and maybe I'll bring all 3 rides I'm in the process of doing but again and thank you very very much for taking the time to show me and all of us your knowledge that can help us all out your a great person with a great crew I hope you continue to be blessed even more....THANKS AGAIN Niko from Peoria,Arizona

    From sand blasting to sanding the whole over-cab truck, now that's a lot of work. But you're getting it done in a week or just 5 to 6 or so hours, now that's awesome. Great show

    How do you make a living with all the labor you put into a build ? These things must sell for big numbers with all the time you put into them ,if not you would be out of work quickly.. sorry I don't mean to be nasty just haven't seen you sell anything yet .You gave away a nice hot rod ..gave it away. Your a good man from what I can see I do hope you are reaping a reward for all you do..! The other people all they do is talk about the money they make like Gas Monkey Garage and Orange county Choppers and others...you are a very different kind of podcast a hard worker a down to earth guy, have been watching for a while thought you were on TV before and I saw this podcast ..Good luck in your work can't wait to see this PU truck done and up and running .You and your wife are a breath of fresh air to watch..

    Awesome work mister chad,,when I was doing “rectification “ on cars, I always wiped mud all over the cars and shaped them,, I hope you never lose whatever it is that motivates you,, great vision and creativity going on there..
