Where do you rank Goliath in the park's lineup?
Goliath is definitely in the top 3 at the park. Ive never ridden it, but it looks amazing! Great review and footage!
Goliath is the an easy choice for best in the park. People say the best element of raging bull is the drop in the back but Goliath's drop is so much better. More airtime, steeper, and the speed and angle you go into the tunnel is much scarier than any other tunnel
Goliath is one of the hidden gems of RMC. I think it makes my top 5 along with top tier rides such as GhostRider, Twisted Colossus, Maverick, and of course Steel Vengeance. While short, it is by far the best ride in the park and one of my favorite wooden coasters. Every element is great and extremely powerful. This is also the most re-rideable RMC, and the single rider line is the greatest thing ever for marathoning it.
Wow we used to have a nearly identical top 5!! I love using that single rider line it gets me on super quick skipping a super long wait
As intense as it is from start to finish, I don't think the ride can be much longer. It's one of those rides where after its over you question if you even breathed during the ride. Excellent ride.
Having ridden all 3 Topper Track coasters in America, I was surprised how this one is completely glass smooth compared to the others. It feels like an I-box coaster even. That was a pleasant surprise for me.
A lot of people complain about its pot holes but I found it to be butter smooth and very re rideable

If it's a topper track, so it's not near a "near hybrid"; it's wooden. It's almost a hyper with the drop only lacking 20' from being a hyper, the biggest on a woodie in the world. It may be a little underrated being such a fast and smooth wooden RMC but I've only ridden four other RMCs' Steel Vengeance, Twisted Colossus and Jersey Devil and found Goliath to be inferior to all of them. It is a vey short ride. Then again: I've ridden good RMCs. I'd consider Goliath to be the 2nd best coaster in the park after Raging Bull; both of which are back car rides. But I can't say Goliath is the best in the park. Raging Bull is my 7th favourite coaster and Goliath is in my 20's and I've only ridden 153 coasters.
Raging Bull is a fantastic roller coaster and a great compliment in the lineup to the intensity and ejector filled ride of Goliath! Both definitely deserve more appreciation and I’m glad you enjoy and rank both fairly high
Rode Goliath hundreds of time. The drop is very good… even better than steel vengeance. The speed is more intense as well. Problem with Goliath.. is that it’s too short..
I agree! If it had the length of other RMCs or even Steel Vengeance it would easily be the best in my opinion
Just went to SFGA, that one was probably the best ride there. Batman was too rough on my cardio (I have normal blood pressure), superman was interesting yet I wish there was more to it, the joker was fun but a bit much, Maxx force was too short, viper is too rough, and others were fine but not too impressionable. This one, however, was smooth and had the right amount of intensity without becoming too forceful.
It’s a perfect ride for the ride duration! If it was longer I doubt it would have the same power it already does
@AirtimeProductions As a composition major, I only recently realized the value of being concise over being long in music, and this applies to any form of art and entertainment, even those in engineering like Goliath.

The only thing I don't like about this ride is how short it is, and no amount of editing and wide angles can make it any longer, unfortunately. That said, it's miles and miles above and beyond New Texas Giant.
I still have yet to ride New Texas Giant but I’m very curious to see how it rides! I think I may be riding Iron Rattler soon however

My big complaint about Goliath is that rough stop at the end! I used to love Goliath as a teen but now it just rattles me a bit too much. So much fun though.
It’s a lot of fun! Yeah a lot of people mention that rattle but I only noticed it last year or two years ago (I forgot) I think they fixed it or I built a tolerance
