Hi dear Antonio, this second consolation has a lovely melodic line that is treated uniquely in the different registers of the piano. It may sound simple but one must focus on the melody which shifts from hand to hand. You controlled the balance well by keeping the accompaniment in the background so that the melody can sing! A feeling of peace and calm was projected by you. Thanks for sharing this beautiful music moment with us my friend 😊

I listened and watched your videos with ecstatic attention. My choice for a commentary fell on Liszt. Perhaps too obvious for my melancholic musical taste. I felt like I was walking through the ancient streets of the village where I was born: Charbonnières les Bains (France)... a comment below used the word enchanting and I echo that. I do think often that Liszt is at his best in these short piano pieces. True to it's name it is truly a consolation. I had to play it twice. Beautiful video and gorgeous playing. Thank you absolutely in love with this little piece.

Hi dear Antonio, this second consolation has a lovely melodic line that is treated uniquely in the different registers of the piano. It may sound simple but one must focus on the melody which shifts from hand to hand. You controlled the balance well by keeping the accompaniment in the background so that the melody can sing! A feeling of peace and calm was projected by you. Thanks for sharing this beautiful music moment with us my friend 😊
