1 - Change the highest note tuner to the other side of the headstock 2 - Buy mandolin fret wire and do a proper extension neck with wood and metal frets
Now use a pitch shifter😂😂 that will kill people it looks pretty good and it sounds way better with the whole step scalloped fretboard I love it djent on man🤘
Bro, you are truly amazing with expanded thoughts, and even more impressive with your actions to enable actual functional models!! 🖖🏼. Keep it up, and I shall continue to observe and really enjoy your channel.
I'd say you should experiment with fretwork. Maybe even make a guitar for microtonal music. M.A.N made a microtonal metal record called "Massive Audio Nerve".
I like your way of thinking ...going beyond the traditional. That is a great instrument you did well in planning building and performing .God bless you
I recently bought a liuqin (a Chinese instrument) which has ridiculous small frets in upper registers. I found most player just do tremolo picking those upper notes. You should try that too.
When i saw your thumbnail, the first thing i thought was uli jon roth’s sky guitar. Uli is one of my heroes. The ky guitar has unusual technology like built in preamp, equalizer, and the crap robotuner. Very expensive and definitely not for everybody.
Said Too Much Productions Can you purchase an Eastwood Mandocaster 12? It's a true Soprano 12 String Electric Guitar tuned an Octave Higher because it's half the scale Length.
the high frets seem hardy to play, what if you make the frets taller you think that would help sustain? the scallop idea seems good too best of luck with the design
You should make some kind of accuracy pick thing for you frettinghand so you can hit the higher notes easier Kind of like a thumb pick for a banjo only front facing and for the left hand
I'm really curious to see how far you can go with a baritone scale. I have been looking online for a 29 fret baritone guitar. This would give it the ability to reach the highest not of a normal 24 fret guitar. Unfortunately, I don't think they make them which is disappointing. Do you think it is possible to either convert a bass and add to its scale or add to the scale of a baritone this way? I would find it convenient for live performance.
That's a good idea, a baritone conversion neck I bought for a strat went from the old 21 to a new 24 like a 3 fret bonus past the old nut, so similar idea
@@SaidTooMuchProductions I currently own a PRS SE 227. Great baritone guitar. But the range is too short when I want to hit higher notes. I know the simple solution is just to get a 7 string. But I prefer 6 strings. It's just easier to use.
The whole tone fretted scale idea is a good one. I mean you need to develop a whole new fingering style anyway with frets that close to each other, so why not scales too.
Longer scale length, thicker strings, 36 frets with real metal should give you better stability and access to individual notes. The concept works on bass because the scale lengths permits distance between frets and high tension /stability.
Nice! This will get you to A with normal guitar string sets; shop.fender.com/en-US/mini-stratocaster/0370121558.html Duo Sonics and Mustangs will too - but the 22.5" scale lengths are hard to find.
That pure sine wave matches the tinnitus ringing in my ears! I must be tuned to C!
That's the best comment I've ever read, thanks man!
my parrot just died. thanks.
@Gupster 23 XD
Np
No problem, if you need any more help with that I'm happy to comply!
Probably not a good thing one of my ads was talking about the pet section at Menards
i guess Im quite randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
1 - Change the highest note tuner to the other side of the headstock

Why should he move the highest note tuner to the other side of the headstock? What difference would that make?
@@frog4722 It would make the string length the smallest, allowing a higher tension and therefore the highest pitch possible
Ok but bow you gotta play a demo with that and your sub contrabass.
Felken at the same time, too
Lol the slide stuff is funny. Those high pitched sounds are like something Steve Vai would use
Lol
They sound like R2D2 to me lol.
nice
You're such a madman in making these experimental tests on your instruments...
Love it!
Maybe you can 3-D print Trenches in the frets and use paper clips as metal frets?
Now use a pitch shifter😂😂 that will kill people it looks pretty good and it sounds way better with the whole step scalloped fretboard I love it djent on man🤘
*Tom morello crashes in like an fbi trooper*
Seriously, i like the sound of the soprano guitar in the lower frets. It sounds quite cold. Good for black metal i guess.
I don't know if my dog feels comfortable watching this video but I use headphones just in case...
That's a cruel thing to make your dog wear.
@@althejazzman what, the headphones are for me bro
@@AtanoKSi That's the joke.

Dude who let you use their table saw? That was hard to watch
Lol glad ts see you have a good attitude man

Sounds like my Hot Pocket is done!
This is the experimenting and innovation that makes the future happen! We appreciate the balls you have to do this?

Ya, it's not like there's much sustain anyway lol
@@SaidTooMuchProductions Can you make a fretboard extension to go up to 39 frets?
It sounds like hearing test...so unique.
The Keanu meme killed me lol

Would make sweet R2D2 impressions!
Now it’s time for the 36 fret 8 string
Interesting design.
I have seen some fretless basses where the neck goes all the way to the bridge
Infinity Fretboards. They're really cool
Those stradis man...
4:29 Hmmm... wondering who's that sexy A Bass...
Looks great!
Just an idea: use pick tapping on the highest frets. Should get more output and accuracy.
Play some death metal on that
Try pitch shifting it down an octave or two at the 36th fret lol
4:22 sounds like r2d2 here
4:38 Ahh good to see the new Tatran song is in.
Said Too Much Productions Can you purchase an Eastwood Mandocaster 12? It's a true Soprano 12 String Electric Guitar tuned an Octave Higher because it's half the scale Length.
I like the idea of changing pieces for different keys. It would prolly hello with clarity a bit.

Kind of like a thumb pick for a banjo only front facing and for the left hand
Use a left handed aka upturned headstock and you will reduce the tension on the high E.
Said Too Much Productions Can you go to 39 frets?
9:38 High C a Treble Violin can go an Octave above that to a C9.
Practical? Not really.
Useful? Well...
Cool and unique? Oh, yeah!
that sliding up and down sounds like the start of pink floyd - see emily play
The Stuart and Sons 108 Key Piano can play Higher than C8 up to B8
Now you do a CCR cover with this thing. Not in the higher levels, of course, that would make a lot of sense.

Now put into a drop tuning pedal or a whammy and see what you get, :)
It'd take some engineering, but maybe make a mechanism that you can push down a fret above but it locks the next fret down to make them feel longer?
Whole steps seem like they should work. Between the B and E strings you can play any note as long as you're okay with shifting between strings.
The whole tone fretted scale idea is a good one. I mean you need to develop a whole new fingering style anyway with frets that close to each other, so why not scales too.
It sorta sounds like a toy piano. Wicked neat
This guitar reminded me of ice cave from pokemon HeartGold. You could probably make a cover with that guitar
Piezo pick-up and nylon strings?
I actually think it looks pretty cool :P
How did the string possibly snap by loosening it?
Try it with the gamechanger audio plus pedal
Yeah, I was wrong about using fretless scale extender. Doesn't really work unless you're using a slide.
Why not try it with a 24 fret guitar? Maybe it would be a little easier, given the different Scale Lengths?
Longer scale length, thicker strings, 36 frets with real metal should give you better stability and access to individual notes. The concept works on bass because the scale lengths permits distance between frets and high tension /stability.
Octave pedal? Seems a lot easier
Piccolo Guitar would have been a better name imo
Just get a lapsteel lol
You should make a Discord server
i just commented that but im deleting it so you can be the original suggestion bb
i wonder if you could like, 3d print a DIY evertune bridge or a new type of trem (maybe like a t-o-m les paul kinda bridge but trem) 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
0:41 Song name?
You should make an extended range Bass.
If only I had the money... there a cheap 10 string bass I could probably convert to a piano range with an extended fretboard
lmao play that through a whammy 2x octave
Now try this on an acoustic guitar
why does this hurt so much.

Edison dropping markers is distracting af. You dont have to have the playlists running for Edison to record.
this hurts my soul
First and hi Kevin
play some tom morello solos lmao
Why wouldn’t you strip the guitar down to just the body before cutting it??? I cringed. Also patent it
To save myself from buying another set of strings lol
bend
Sounds like a baby's toy
buy a Whammy pedal instead of destroying a guitar you'll end up using only a handful of times. I don't care how cheap the guitar was.
