*Lot of people on the comment section are asking about what is on the 4th disc of The Hobbit Trilogy and the 5th and 6th disc of The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Because there is alot of contents on these discs and it will take me ages to answer each individual comments so that's why I have written all the contents of these discs below.
These are the contents of the Disc 4 from Hobbit trilogy and Disc 5 and 6 from TLOTR Trilogy.

Picked up the theatrical remastered Blu rays and wow truly impressed with the set.
Awesome box set. I have Lord of the Rings extended edition on Blu-ray. Still have to get the Blu-rays for The Hobbit
Would be nice to include a little booklet stating all the contents of each disc.

does the theatrical remastered bluray set have the special features too? I'm not a mad fan of the extended versions
At Amazon it is written that this set includes polish audio and subtitles, yet the description on the box says otherwise. Could you check if it is true?
Does the movies have Portuguese subtitles?

You only get the extended version. You can buy the theatrical boxset seperate and the extended boxset seperate for TLOTR.

(I suppose the "Behind the scenes" discs for Lord of the rings are the Costa Boates documentaries...)

I hope they release the remasters on Blu ray for the Hobbit independently like LOTR, because those remasters are underrated. The movies truly look better.
No unfortunately they didn't release the Hobbit Trilogy remastered Blu-ray independently, only LOTR Trilogy.
@@kayatthemovies3119follow up question: do you live in the United States? If so, will these work on a regular blu ray player?
Do you know if the blu rays are region free? Does it work in the US?
Am afraid it's only Region B(UK and Europe).
The Blu-Rays are region free (Warner doesn't region lock their Blu-Rays). The DVDs are a mix of Region 2 and Region 0, but the content is all in PAL format so there may be some issues playing the region free discs in American players if your set-up can't handle PAL content.
Do you also have the subtitles missing from the LOTR Appendices? Mine has a mix of missing and Netherlands, but on the Hobbit there are English subtitles. So let down by this!
Yes ur absolutely right, no English subtitles on the LOTR Appendices but what really is the let down is that on the boxset is says Dolby Atmos soundtrack but on the LOTR films it only has English Dolby digital 5.1 and no Atmos on the Hobbits either. The dvd edition of the LOTR trilogy has DTS soundtrack but this doesn't even has DTS.

What are on the LotR special features discs?
It includes the appendices, the long documentary of making of the film. The same features it had on the DVD boxset.

I really don't know if the picture quality is better because I don't own the previous edition. It's suppose to be newly remastered so am guessing it's going to be better.
Excellent video bro. Did they fixed the horrible “green color” on the original The Fellowship of the ring Blu Ray in this new remaster?.

Thanks for liking the video bro. Yes they have fixed the green tint on The Fellowship but I am still not happy with this boxset. On the boxset it says it has Dolby Atmos on all 6 films but on the LOTR trilogy it only has 5.1 Dolby Digital English soundtrack, not even DTS.
Do they plan to sell the movies individually?
I don't know about each film individually but I do know there is just the The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Remastered Edition
Do you know if the hobbit trilogy got remastered becuase I ask around from hmv they told it was only the lord of the rings trilogy got remastered so do have more information about the full boxset with hobbit and lord of the rings got remastered
I can't tell u for certain if the Hobbit Trilogy are remastered because I haven't got the previous editions to compare them with. I have checked the covers on the hobbit and it does say they are newly remastered and I also checked Warner Bros. Shop where I bought them from and they also state both the Trilogies are remastered. Maybe what HMV meant was they only have L.O.T.R Trilogy boxset as separate remastered boxset as the Hobbit Trilogy didn't get a separate remastered release. Sorry couldn't be more of a help.

@@cavalierdecoupe No, they're not. The Hobbit was already mastered in 4K and these discs are identical to the 2016 release. They even have the old BBFC certs on them. Only LotR was newly remastered, hence HMV only having that as a stand alone release.
I'm just wondering if the all of the middle earth in the boxset is remastered becuase I realise it's the same image from 4k
I am now wondering the same thing, all the discs looks like the same ones as the previous edition plus the films don't have Dolby Atmos soundtrack. I can't believe they made a mistake like this. I have contacted Warner Bros, let's see what they say.

@@kimarleygodfrey5333 I contacted Warner Bros and I will be sending the boxset back for the refund. They couldn't exactly saw if this was the remastered or not but I was planning to get the HMV edition if The Lord of the rings Trilogy remastered edition but i checked checked out an unboxing video of that boxset and the discs look exactly the same as mine. I am now confused, i don't know if i should just keep my boxset or return it and get the hmv boxset?

@@kimarleygodfrey5333 am just going to keep the boxset, there's no point getting a refund then buying the hmv edition because the disc are exactly the same. You was also right about them being the same disc as the 4k boxset, but they are not the same as the previous 2012 Middle-Earth boxset. Anyway thanks for bringing it to my attention. Let me know what u get in the end.
Nice, but I would honestly be a lot more interested in how the actual FILMS look in comparison to the older masters.
They look better (!) than 4Ks which were treated with awful upscaling / sharpening / noise reduction.
