    needle nose WITH the coilmaster holding the wire, glad there is some one doing this stuff slow so we can pick up tips like that, I'm kind of self taught so I' slapping my head at some of these things
    Thank You!

    Just wanted to stop by and say thank you - I've made ok claptons before but whenever I've tried other, more complex, coils (like framed staples) I've always ended up failing or making "meh" coils. But your tutorials have really helped me, both from practical tips and process point of view but also gaining the confidence and today I made a near perfect framed staple from this video of yours. I've wrapped it (2 x 3mm ID in an Asgard RDA in squonk mode) and it's absolutely brilliant. Just need to find a way of making a coil that fires slightly faster without adding more watts (at 90w already) and I'll have the perfect coil for me. You work at just the right pace so I can follow along and your tips and info are spot on. Plus you're a fun, interesting guy to listen to, especially on the live streams. So thank you sir, you're a star :) Liked, subscribed, oh and your live streams are great fun too :)

    Pro tip. If you've got Fused Calptons and Aliens down with 36g and want to advance, go to 38 before 40. It's a GREAt happy medium and very underrated wire.

    Nice technique. I'm struggling with multiple wires getting messed up but having a ribon to hold it together where you can slide with the fingers is really really nice!

    As it happens I am trying out my first framed staple and saw you had posted this tutorial. Thanks Nick. Tried ribbon builds before but they always got messed up. Off to try and finish them now. Keep up the amazing videos!

      Thanks Nick. Used your gauge idea to get the right core wire and decided to Alien wrap it. A bit uneven, but 10ish inches of framed staple! Dead chuffed. 6*0.4 N80 with frames of 28.5g (metric 0.3mm) N60 and wrap of 0.15 KA1.

      Thanks Joshua. I am getting the importance. Biggest difference I have made is using hot glue and patience!

    Dude , I really learn a lot from you . Thanks for the free help. I got the framed staple down now and I just pulled off a PERFECT Staggered fused Clapton....That is a pain in the ass. Getting the wire to lay in spaces perfect is a nightmare but it looks great when you pull it off. Can you do some staggered stuff some more?

    When ever I build big framed staple coils with a 40g clapton I get little bumps all over the inside of the coil where wire bulges out. Any idea why?

    • @ndevine83
      @ndevine83  7 лет назад

      +Ben Wilkinson id have to see, can either be a ribbon sticking up, a overlap of claptin, or not so strait 40g

    Great! By the way, do you have a video about how to make or setup a “building station”? I mean with swivels etc (I saw you had some kind of bearing swivel)
    I’m pretty new to building and I still trying to get that perfect building station or building table or whatever. Do you have any tips?
