New Balance better be grateful AF to have these two talking so much Hype about their shoe. Cuz it made me click the running warehouse link immediately. Haha
Did my first run in them in the rain.. could be my second favourite shoe. Feels like a 10k race version of the 4%.. but the key thing is performance in rain. You both are right. It is slippery AND grippy! 😳.. when going slow on wet roads I had "uh oh. Slippery!" Moments.. but whenever I picked up the pace it felt grippy and never sketchy. Completely weird and baffling. But running at speed in them?.. well I am afraid I was going slower than intended. My cheesy grin was catching the wind!.. possibly one of the nicest transitions from mid to fore foot I have experienced
New Balance, baby. The widefooter's dream. I haven't been running lately and have instead been focusing on weightlifting, but I do want to get back my 5k legs, and I think this is the shoe to do it. I wear NB lifestyle sneaks and for running. I'm a fanboy. lol
Great stuff, enjoyed seeing Jamison M...on the channel 👍🏽 Interesting to hear about Fuel Cell being the top end sole and Fresh-foam being a tier 3 “Beacon” is very nice!
Love this shoe. Just got this. Fits perfect thank for review I am in love with this new shoe way better then react sorry nike and I ran in the rain with them no problems whats so ever just perfect little shoe
How does the cushion compares to the Zante Pursuit? I got it that it has more energy return, but is that on a springy/cushion way or just a harder responsive feel?
I have put in a bunch of runs in this shoe. From speedwork to long runs. For me, this shoe fits in the middle between the Fresh Foam Beacon and the Pursuit (I own both). The FuelCell Rebel is an amazing shoe! You can do a lot it in.
Thom Run thanks a lot, quite surprised, though excited with your comments. But then when would you use the Pursuit? Both have very similar specs, but sounds like the Rebel is a better option, am I wrong? I will definitely look into testing the Rebel this weekend. Im in search for a shoe to break 1h35m in a Half this fall.
@@brunocassettari I use the pursuits for more high intensity shorter intervals. Like Deeks Quarters (8 X 400 with a 200 recovery) or 10 X minute on minute off/10 X 2 minute on- one minute off.
I am looking at these Rebels for running on the treadmill. What would be your advice and suggestions for shoes for running on a treadmill? New Balance Rebel or New Balance Fresh Foam 880? Thanks.
@@Believeintherun would your advice change if tell you that I am overweight? Would running in Rebel have any adverse impact on my knees? Also, would the flare on the outside of the shoe somehow increase over pronation? Thanks
For whatever reason, the voice audio was significantly muffled and I couldn't make out anything that was said. Howver, the transition sound effects (from one topic to another) came in loud and clear.
@@Believeintherun So FuelCell doesn't mean "nitrogen infused TPU" anymore? It would be odd if they kept the foam's name, but changed it to EVA. I would be surprised if the 5280 was just EVA and $200 too.
Great collab!, you're always welcome for o colab in our beutaifull Spain... (yuou know, beach, food...) i even better food than Franklin Restaurant in Austin ;9 @Jamison Review
Aggressive opinion here: I really dislike these shoes. I might even say that I hate them. For a shoe that supposedly returns a bunch of energy, I felt bogged down the entire time. It was a slog. I also found them to be painfully stiff, with all of the shock transferred straight to my shins. In this category of shoe, I far prefer the Kinvara 10 and Zante Pursuit.
the people want a supercut of jami just looking at the shoe

Great to see you guys together. 🙌

Audio for most of this was coming in on only the left. Might want to check your export/mic settings.
Quote of the day : " it's tight in all the right places" . Jami u the man. Lol
One GOAT shoe, Two GOAT reviewers....The GOATNESS of this review 🙌🏻🔥💯 keep it up guys! Always looking forward to both of your reviews and insights! 🙌🏻
roie garcia over playing the 🐐these guys are sub par
Michael McEvoy my personal opinion clown. So better take your negativity to yourself
I'm currently running the NB Fuellcell Propel, and I have to say is currently the best running shoe.
FU.. IS the Best I ever ran
Tbh I couldn't even focus on the shoe, all these greatness is blinding me

Hahah I thought my rightt EarPod broke
Great video! I follow both of you, and you guys rock! Keep it up! All the way from Brazil 🇧🇷
The hype is real and I think purchasing these for my 2020 marathon in death valley CA would help in my performance.
Beacon 2 or rebel for distance and softness ?
NR If you're not fast, Beacon.
Great stuff. Loving the crossover videos lately.
Two of the Best reviewers! 👏
What distances do you recommend it for? Tempo and intervals? Race shoe?
I have done both intervals and long runs in this shoe. For me, it is one of the best from NB
Outstanding
How do these compare to the Brooks Pureflow? Great reviews
Great review!! How does the Rebel compare to the Hoka Carbon X?
I can't wait until next year when I can afford these!🤣
💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
this review is FIRE
Jacquard is a weave named after the machine that makes it. Textile reference
Eric Sisk good to know, thanks
Believe in the Run Lol. Not really. Completely useless info. Ha!
Jamie, what are you doing here? You will be hosting Kofuzi's channel next?
MrJermson Cousin Kofuzi may be the next trip 💁🏿♂️
@@JamisonMichael waiting for it!
Great video everyone, can we get a video of Jamison looking through your shoe collection🤔
David Curtin Jamison?
If you use a mid-foot contact with a heel-lift above the knee, you need adequate space in the toe-box, so maybe size up 1/2 a size.
Thought my airpods were effed up 😓😂
Nice looking shoe, need to check it out
That was awesome!
Great fun review. Keep it up
But weird audio when viewing on a PC but fine when watching on in youtube app on phone!
LOOK MA, I MADE IT!
Great shoe but needs a better insole. After about 10k it can move and get a crease, making it painful to run in
Love this shoe. Just got this. Fits perfect thank for review I am in love with this new shoe way better then react sorry nike and I ran in the rain with them no problems whats so ever just perfect little shoe
Jami is in every effing channel now?! Nice review though. I like when several people with different requirements are lending their views like this.
How much miles can you expect out of the shoe?
Tony Bui easy 300
If you had to choose between hoka Rincon and this shoe what would your pick be?

I love this shoe! However I can't seem to lock down my right side:(

Can you get a new microphone? The voice is hard to hear....😁
Left channel only
They need to raise the gain
i love this
wow, my left ear loves this video
hahaha, Left is best.
For overpronators?
What would you recommend pegasus 36 or the nb fuelcel rebel?
Pls sir, for both of u do some review on kayano 26. Thank you
Han Lie the Kayano 26 will definitely get a written review. I had to get my miles in first so it’s coming soon.
@@jarrettw7753 thank you, I hope the 26 sucks in many levels so I didnt regret bought the 25 already , weeks prior the 26 popped out.
I want more
How does VenniRay feel about Saucony Liberty ISO 2?
I reckon these and the Beacons will make a pretty good rotation, however These have just gone up from £120 to £200 on the NB UK website overnight!

Has anyone figured out what the midsole is made of? It does seem somwhat similar to React.
Cameron Johnson just EVA Foam.

Razor or Rebel??? Hyperburst or Fuelcell??? What you think Jamison?
Gilberson Brito I think rebel has a better fit, but he razor has the Zebra 🦓
I raced a 10k on wet pavement and it was disastrous... I was slipping at each step during the toe off and experienced the worst race ever.
Hate when people talk about "over pronation" 🙄 it's so stupid and science doesn't back it up. It's a shoe sales tactic 😂
No Audio
Check that audio before you upload. I can’t read lips lol 😂
What? 👂✋
My audio cut out towards the end around 8:30. Maybe it was jus my phone dunno
