@orihiho2978 it came from Scotland from the 1600s, so it is definitely outdated, although there was more ring in those leather snares. So if it sounds so good, why doesn't pop music use it, or even prog? Bozzio used it in the 70s with UK. It was OK. I heard it 20 years ago with a Scottish bagpipe crew, and it sounded good, but there were about 12 drummers. A high school using only a few sounds weak. My band teacher was Ohio State, and they didn't use those when she graduated. I guess that's why music has lost its melody. Rap has taken over everything, and all bands want to sound alike with dull snares. They may as well play bagpipes, too. Why do they bother even buying a drum? Cut out a desktop, and you've got a modern snare.
@@andynaz5631 music has different genres, there’s not gonna be a universal standard for all different genres it’s sissily not how it works. Also FYI, hip-hop is the origin of both pop and rap, so blaming rap for problems with stuff is stupid
I’d say there’s potential
Nothing better than Troop March B! Recruit March B is OK!
It needs more cowbell
Sup Loopy Grandma!
Looks like you are catching up on some videos, too!
Someone 👏 hire 👏 Conner 👏 Ferguson
Did anyone realize that the background is covered up in military uniforms 😂
These modern snare drums sound like they are pounding on a school desk. Not good.
yes, it’s called a Kevlar head, and I it sounds amazing. Just because something doesn’t fit into your time period doesn’t make it bad.

@@andynaz5631 because pop music is drumset and not matching snare
@@orihiho2978 still, if it sounds so good, make it work in pop music.
