Great to hear! Amazing, it's still a topic with so that hasn't been shared, or, at least, widely shared. Thanks for watching!

I enjoyed this video. Maybe you forgot that 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' is the best western for the same reason you showed a photo of the Wild Bunch and called them the Doolin-Dalton Gang.....you don't always get your facts straight. But like I said, I enjoyed your video and I share a lot of your opinions. 😉

The Wild Bunch of the Doolin Dalton gang has no relation to the Butch and Sandance story beyond the name. It's another common example of writers borrowing from these guys to add to other stories. But, yes, a great western, no doubt!

All the awful sequels that Hollywood produces today, as if there are no stories left to tell.

I agree 100%. I started researching this story 15 years ago but I've been aware since the 3rd - a field trip to the museum of the Hanging Judge! That famous line from Rooster Cogburn, "Fill your hands you son of bitch!" Is stolen from Frank Eaton, the original Pistol Pete - who was cross-eyed and a dead ringer of shot. His story alone is worthy of a blockbuster. Thanks for watching!

I DON'T BELIEVE HIM. HE'S TOO OFTEN WRONG.ON TOP OF THAT, HE'S ANNOYING. TOO ARTIFICIAL. BE VERY CAREFUL OF ALL THESE DOCUTYPES, ESPECIALLY THE JOHNNY COME LATELYS. HE EVEN TELLS YOU WHY HIMSELF.

I actually grew up near the Parker museum and first went on a field trip in the 3rd grade. I've been aware of this story for over 40 years. It is complicated and loaded with stories that are difficult to verify, as I stated. I think you forgot to mention where I was too often wrong. You very well could be right. I do take the research seriously. I am new to RUclips but have been producing documentaries for over twenty years for AMC, History channel, and more. My most recent feature length doc just won a Telly Award. I believe I've been transparent about info and state where something is my opinion. However, I very well could have missed the mark. Let me know where and I'll address that. Side note, many historical sites that I used for research have bad info so, with topics like this, it's a mine field. Yes, I can be annoying. Still working on that one. Have a good day.
