So when you were destroying your opponents, you were actually destroying young kids over and over again. There’s also a lot of older adults here.
As a young adult Bedrock player, I can attest to this. I much prefer casual single player survival mode and achievement hunting over competitive online minigame servers. If I'm playing with someone else (which doesn't happen often due to the way my account was set up when I was younger, unfortunately), it's always going to be a friend on our own world. EDIT: I also play on Xbox One, forgot to mention since I know PC vs Console makes a difference.
An other factor could be that people with crappy hardware tend to play bedrock because it requires less power than java. Therefore, a part of the players on these minigames might simply be playing on the worst potato computers on Earth

Pc players are at a huge advantage in terms of pvp. Clicking on a mouse is way easier and faster compared to tapping on a screen. And because it's a screen were using, it's very hard to turn fast when there's both limited space and grip. most mobile players don't use the crosshair because of this as moving your fingers to tap on other areas is simply faster than like the 5 buttons you have to focus on due to the new update to mobile controls (still a problem even before the update).
@@Rovant yeah i think there is a difference in knockback between the 2 servers I play on my phone and i can tell you in cubecraft mobile player actually have a fighting chance against other platforms while in hive they just get murdered the nanosecond a pc/console player start speed bridging in there direction
I think one reason for this is because if you're taking playing minecraft seriously you aren't going to play on bedrock because java is way more capable. Bedrock players are more casual and probably just play the game in their free time. That along with the fact that most of these people are probably on console because there's pretty much no reason to have bedrock on pc.
I play only in bedrock, Im relatively a new player, but consider myself rather good. So this are just my general impressions. I feel like we don’t have much of a pvp culture in bedrock, there’s not really a point, it’s just spam clicking, the fight mechanics in java are better for this purpose. Also, most multiplayer servers are private, I almost never go to these featured servers. The lack of mods has a certain role on this too I think, I play waaay more on singleplayer.

I guess bedrocks 1.8 pvp is probably not very polished so it’s mostly based on who is using keyboard controls instead of who is better.
If you know how to sprint jump, youre already better than the average bedrock player. It is wild, i imagine its because most people on it are likely children, i don't know many people who chooses to play bedrock over java when they have the opportunity to choose between the two
i would say that both versions are almost the same, the only thing that actully changes when swapping between the version is some of the ui style and the pvp system, i dont know anymore diffrences. do it like me: play both versions
If you don't notice the differences.. you must not play Minecraft much. The difference between the versions are blatantly obvious to anyone that has played Java then tried Bedrock, or vice versa.
UI, rendering, redstone, combat, commands, structure generation, some strange little bugs and many features that are either exclusive to Bedrock or are missing from it
Im just a java player who's stuck playing bedrock. I have the mind of a java player, but java is innacessable to me so im stuck on bedrock. I'm mentally a java player, but haven't actually gotten my hands Java yet because well...PCs are expensive. Plus to add the salt to the wound, the Aether Mod is only available for java, because Bedrock doesn't support custom dimensions, and all there is is just shit ripoffs in the Marketplace.
I played bedrock with one of my friends and some guy had the most obvious hacks he was in a chest looking away from us and hit both of us at the same time we did not win that fight
I don't think keyboard and mouse is the winning factor. Even in the competitive FPS games there are plenty of controller only players on major teams that play cross input against keyboard and mouse on PC. Though people playing on phone that is another story
ok but who actually cares? a game is a game. only difference is on console, its much cheaper with the same experience, much larger screen, and who doesnt love a large screen? much better movement, more versatile sitting positions, and console doesnt support such a corrupt government like computer does, with quadruple digit price only for all of the downsides i mentioned. and the biggest flaw, typing an essay to play a game, its atrocious. but other than that, its just a game…and the funny thing is im really good at some pvp games with cross platform. its funny how contradicting mfs are when i @ssblast them using a controller. almost like controllers are underrated and given a bad reputation by those who dont have any experience with one. though i only play one multiplayer game and not since 3 weeks ago anyways. i cant see the appeal in it other than the in game content. i dont like competition on something with microtransactions so if the game is shallow in content and very repetitive in whats available, like any multiplayer only game, then its shit and only appeals to gen z
Console player were bad even before bedrock edition even existed i was able to do the same killstreaks on legacy console edition battle 8 years ago before the edition was discontinued and i was playing on controller as well in fact this was before crossplay was added so playing on keyboard wasnt even a thing and in game voice chat was not removed yet so i could even hear the adult players were bad too. i got so many killstreaks back in the day. the mini games were also so much better back then the better together update ruined the game for console players and java edition is filled with so many hackers even bedrock has tons of hackers LCE did not have any hackers and was more fun Old minecraft died 8 years ago with the better together update. All the good LCE players either quit minecraft or switched to java like me when the better together update dropped. this brought a ton of bad players to bedrock edition the new bad players dont even know about the better together update or LCE so this is fundementally why bedrock edition players are so bad. Its because bedrock players have horrible taste in gaming as a whole every time i play with a bedrock player they ask me to play some other bad popular video game like fortnite or roblox This is because they are children who have never played a good game in their life that is why they dont care about how bedrock edition is a terrible buggy modern gaming mess of a video game.
