Videos like this takes every chance they get to mention African slavery. But unfortunately don't take the same opportunities to explain it and how it differed from european chattel slavery. it's grossly irresponsible to say they least.

@@random-characters4162 the difference is most slavery throughout history were acts of war. Slavery or indenture servitude was common before the African slave trade and mostly forced captives to fight, cook, and serve in different ways AND IN AFRICA a lot of the "slaves" were released after a certain period. Like a jail sentences.
CHATTLE SLAVERY: this is a term coined POST Atlantic Slave Trade due to its function as an animal-like herding and breading practice... this involves capture, relocation, rape, forced breeding, torture, stealing of children, mutilation, sexual assault of children, feeding children to animals,, psychological torture, erasing language and culture brain washing, castration.
