Power washing a large patio with years of dirt

  • This patio was in a right state, I cleaned this about 8 years ago. And it sure needed a good power washing as you can see. Now its clean its all summer ready for the BBQs, There is also another pressure washing video on this property, I also done the large block paved driveway, and will upload soon. Thanks for watching.       Or better yet attach a hydroelectric generator in the middle. They already built a dam, might as well get some power out of it 😂

      @@ge2719 Be sure to Winterize it! Texas made the mistake of not doing that, and their Wind Turbines froze up! Everything is BIGGER in Texas, even the fuck ups!

    It is rather strange that a country such as England with so much raining, are so bad at drainage.

      Well from the looks of it someone had bought the house and then decided to add in that stone "patio" and the job was done as cheap as possible (or by themselves)

      England's sewer systems and drainage are archaic at best.. hazards of being the first.

      England doesn't have more rain than anywhere else. I have lived mostly in England and have lived in the tropics and trust me 6 months rainy season in the tropics is far worse than a few rainy months in England.

    What a beautiful patio! They need some breaks along the fence to allow for drainage or some French drains. Simply beautiful!

    Great methodical approach to the project. Step by step with no shortcuts and using the right equipment. Purposely moving through your targets one by one is the only way to handle a project of that size. Like they say, there's only one way to eat an elephant and that's one bite at a time.......Nice work!

    Depending on the stone, with each power washing the surface can become more and more rough, by also washing out some stone material. So new dirt will stick even better. Some polish or sealing would do something good.

    Great job, but looks like the patio needs some additional drainage as itll be just as bad in six months with water retention on slabs. But great job for sure.

    Gratifying to see the end result. One question though. You always start at the bottom & work your way up, should you not start at the highest point & work your way down?

    There's nothing like good drainage, and that was nothing like good drainage.
    I bet you got proper frustrated trying to swill that lot away lol

      Yeah your right, I should of brought my mud sucker to the job that would of sorted it out , but all done, just put a 25 nozzle on full power to move the water in the end

    Such a beautiful area what a great drive to work.
    I’m still frustrated by your customers not getting the home brick wall algae and moss removed. Tell the next one they are peeing off one of your fans.
    Maybe offer to do it for ‘free’ if they accept the quote ( that covers the cost )? 😘😍

    The problem with power washing slabs, concrete, blocks etc. is it removes the surface and creates small pits which allows moss and algae to gain a foothold, it might be a good idea to re-seal the surfaces with a patio sealer after jet cleaning.

      I would assume that the owners would do that or perhaps pay someone to do it. He only power washes. :D

      Perhaps they are too cheap to pay for a complete job. The water fountain down the garden path needed doing too.
