Chandani Chowk is about 300 years old Shopping area which is located near Red Fort in Old Delhi. The purpose of this video is to show the importance of each and every inch of space. The streets in this video are very deep inside the Chandani Chowk area where any navigation system also gets confused. In this video you will find very old facade of houses, some Jain temples, some mosques and some sleeping Dogs on scooters :P and people busy with their daily life. While recording this video I came across some dead ends and streets in some areas were as narrow as 3 feet only. I decided not to remove the street sounds so that everyone can feel the same environment of the streets. Thanks Hope you will enjoy..:)

I'm from Islamabad, Pakistan; since a very long time now i really feel missed out to not be able to travel/visit India, both countries have same culture, same geography, same food, same language, same traditions, same cityscape and streets, yet a border in between and it breaks my heart sometimes. I always looked for travel documentaries online which show a close to real experience, so that even if i cannot travel there atleast i can have a virtual experience. This video came randomly today and i'm just stuck to this video and watching it as if i'm being there in person, specially because you decided to keep the original sound of the video. Infact this is my first ever comment on a youtube video ever as i never do that, but your video made me smile really. Thankyou for sharing this video, means a lot :)
I have lived all my life inside the walled city of Lahore. And i must say not dven a minude difference between walled city lahore and walled city Delhi. I felt like watching my own delhi gate situated in walled ciry of Lahore. Thnx for such amazing vlog.

वाकई यह इलाका शानदार है
It’s a strange thing, that many of the places you visit are in an aged condition but you never see anyone dirty, you never see anyone smoking and you never see anyone drunk. Another great video sir.

Like. Old lahore.. mughal era foot steps......but today lesser building and houses remain in lahore... new constructions every where in old city... but mughal architecture if old still wonderful where ever in india or Pakistan

you're welcome ! No, I don't live in Chandani Chowk. At the moment whole India is in Quarantine. But, I don't think this lock-down will have some positive effect on these types of streets where windows of two houses are less than 1.5 meter distance at 1st floor level. Thanks for watching !

How do you remember the route in such lanes ? Are people helpful there to help you find the exit route.
Remembering route is not possible even if you travel daily from same route. In you want to reach somewhere you can ask people they are helpful. Google maps is also not helpful as it doesn't give your accurate location. You can use compass and just walk in a particular direction you will exit the area as this area is in radius of 10km.

@@ArchitectsVision i disagrew with you. Perhaps you have never lived in the wallwd city. For a local it's a case of fish in the water. The streets,the faces, the charms, the buzz and above all your heart, they all automatically take you to the destinations. No compass no google map needed.

I can feel it. All looks worn out, cable everywhere, everyone watch you, and there is no beautiful girl just old man.
Haha.. Girls are beautiful, but my bad luck nobody was out there at the time of filming. Streets are very confusing one can get lost easily, google maps is also not much helpful.
This is not western Europe or North America.It's very unsafe for women to be outside.Indian streets are mostly occupied by men.
