Hi Amy, what a lovely video🥰🥰 I enjoyed it so much!!! I love seeing all of your projects, you've worked on a lot!!👍 Because of you, I'm now totally into printed cross stitch too😆😆 I love it😍
This was great! I used to cross stitch all the time..Teresa Wentzler was one if my favs, and I've done a few Lizzie Kate back in the day. They must be making the cloth smaller cuz the holes are much harder to see these days. You've inspired me to give it a go again...thank you
I really love the Japanese ladies, but it would be daunting for me lol. I don't know how you do all that you do, but I hope your temperature method works well for you - I have my fingers crossed it does. I just bought 2 new crochet doily pattern books. I've done other designs by this woman, but they test even advanced crocheters like myself. I'm also looking to get back into painting again. I do dot art painting, mostly mandalas. Aaaannnndddd, I want to get back into counted cross stitch again. Before I start all that again, I want to make a reasonable dent in my diamond painting stash. Lofty goals but not like yours. Looking forward to seeing your progress as the month goes on. Susan
I tried to do a silky thread one and nearly lost my mind. Sanet had a video and showed how she coats the threads in beeswax which will wash out when you wash the canvas. I am looking forward to working on that kit again once I get some beeswax.
Oops, I commented earlier in the video before you said you didn’t like the beeswax, now I am wondering if I should just suck it up and try to battle the silky thread….
What’s amazing is those samplers from the 1600’s were stitched by candlelight. (And here’s me whining cuz my light pad quit working 🤦♀️) I imagine it’s the only way young girls learned to read back then.
Love your samplers but my eyesight won’t allow me to go smaller than 14. And even now with both stamped and 14, I’m using 3.50 magnification glasses to see where to stitch.
Yes, the designer is Elena Lartsova. She sells on Wizardi: wizardi.com/collections/elena-lartsova-cross-stitch-patterns/products/christmas-flags-pdf-cross-stitch-pattern
That one came from Fansells. I would be like so lost with all those but it's a cross stitched haven. I Enjoyed your video though
You can recover the Aida by washing it out and reusing it for a stamped project of your own this is aka colorful tornado

Where did the Chinese cat stamped stitch come from?
