Love your videos! I've been on a bit of Christmas hiatus and reassessing how I approach diamond painting, moving into the new year. I found a company that has created a very toxic purchasing environment, and it has really turned me off as I see people spending unbelievable amounts of money on kits and being baited by addictive cyclical sales and rewards. I always appreciate your practical approach to purchasing and encouraging your viewers with budget-friendly options. Apologies for seeming negative. It just has me in a rut with DP, hoping I can get out of it. I hope you had Merry Christmas. Thanks for all you share!

The Pyxcels turned out really cute! Fun advent. Was glad to see the dreamers square you’re working on. The grid looks amazing! After the DAC pink line fiasco I’ve been looking at dreamers more and more. Must say I love their rounds. Hopefully you can discuss the square grid experience in a future W&C. I haven’t fondue’d since the 70’s 😂 Talk about a blast from the past! Well since you asked I’d love to see more of your JWall paintings you’re working on for the comparison. Honestly DAC should own up to their mistake and issue full refunds for the kits affected by the pink lines. $15 refund is a joke as the other options don't cost them anything. Thanks for showing the mica powder method. It looks okay upon application but imo feels kinda gross to have loose powder loosely/temporariy adhered to the canvas but what can we do with the lack of fair options eh

You can buy a protector for the lightpad button so that you don't keep turning it on and off by accident all the time. It used to drive me crazy until I got one 😅

Enjoyed your WIP and Chat and getting to know you better. Glad you had a nice Christmas. I like when you enjoy your project, working on what you WANT to do, as opposed to working on what you feel like you HAVE to do. Looking forward to seeing more VanGough finishes as you are able. Monet will be an awesome future artist, was thinking how beautiful the pieces will be and thinking they would make beautiful stitches, especially with blended colors. I am working on the Sunset stitch and LOVE all the blended stitches, even though I prefer brighter, cooler colors, I am loving the image. Happy New Year!!!

I just finished the witch/christmas tree/graveyard. It actually turns out well. There are candles in front of the tree that dont show pre drill. I also thought it was perfect for post halloween/ pre christmas. The onlynthing id change is the cats eyes to a green

I was checking out the forest dragon kit but it was a bit too much of one color for me to take the plunge. I missed out on the succulent one - I had to sign up for restock notice. I just adore the colors in it! Can't wait to see you work on it! Hope you and the family have a great holiday! Susan

Hi Amy🤗 That pink bag with the bears says "bonne nuit", which is French for good night... kind of strange packaging for cross stitch😂😂 I speak Dutch but part of Belgium is French so I learned French in school (a long, long time ago🤣). I like the flags, the colors are so pretty🥰 I saw similar pens on another channel and she used them on her fabric (counted cross stitch) but you have to be careful because they sometimes bleed which can cause big colored spots on your fabric🫣 The German on the canvas is the Oekotex logo which means that there are no harmful substances used in the printing ink. The big cross stitch with the journal is gorgeous!!!🤩🤩
