I have a very on and off brit acc. But living in asia people find it weird and think im acting or something when truthfully, I've always been listening to news and podcasts of areas outside asia and spend 5 hours listening to it everyday. Basically, i adapted a little bit of the brit accent while listening. Weird innit, dont plan to change the brit accent so here i am 😃

I just looked this up to see if people actually wanted a british accent. I've lived in america my whole life, born and raised and I have a mysterious british accent despite never being to Britain and its made me insecure lately. this does make me feel a little better though, the only explanation is that I grew up around a lot of british media so maybe that's why I have it but I have no idea.
