- This quote from Yelena foreshadowed the events of ‘Spiderman: No Way Home.’ In episode 5 we see Yelena ask Kate for any recommendations on sight seeing in the Big Apple during Christmas time. Yelena states that she already has some sights on her bucket list, one of which being the Statue of Liberty which she describes as “new and improved.” This was initially confusing for viewers as Hawkeye takes place before No Way Home, despite being released before the latter, so it isn’t until watching No Way Home that viewers learnt, during the epic fighting scene between the three Spidermen and all their villains, that the Statue Of Liberty was under construction.

Pretty sure this takes place after NWH during Xmas of ‘24, since it is over a year after Endgame. Especially since Rogers the musical was briefly seen advertised at the end of NWH along with the tree, also consistent with no one mentioning spider man since his identity was forgotten. And the “improvements” to the statue may have been either rebuilding it after the battle or removing the shield since it was mentioned that most people disagreed with it

This doesn’t foreshadow events of that movie, it foreshadows one tiny part of a large multiverse… which can really just be boiled down to continuity rather than anything really significant.

Nwh definitely takes place before Hawkeye. The reason why is because primarily takes place in the fall and it only takes place in the winter during the end when Peter tried to talk to MJ after the spell and the final swing. Meanwhile Hawkeye takes place after because the whole show is set in the winter in the span of 6 days before Christmas. Also in nwh, the big Christmas tree in the Rockefeller center is up while in Hawkeye, it gets taken down meaning the final swing takes place before the show or during it before the final episode

Here’s a fun fact: Hawkeye episode 5 came out on the same day as nwh (in America, I saw it two or three days earlier) so this wasn’t confusing to fans.
NWH takes place in November of 2024 while Hawkeye takes place in December of 2024. NWH does have its ending scene, that being the final swing, somewhere in December however.
The ending showed Spider-Man swinging close to the same Christmas decorated ice skating center

I think a lot of people knew about the new statue (myself included) because of the NWH trailer that came out before the episode. When I first heard it, I knew exactly what she was talking about.
I mean they mentioned on newscasts in Hawkeye that there’d be improvements in tribute to the heroes so I was never given pause. It always made sense.

Yelena Belova (No offense to Natasha or Alexai) was the best part of Black Widow. She is a fantastic character, and she even made Hawkeye better I feel. Because of More of Her and the Red Guardian, I am excited for Thunderbolts. I really hope it’s good.

Ahhh Hawkeye. The show that’s not actually about Clint Barton. Had the chance to be a dark show about how Clint was struggling with events from the past. But oh no! Marvel has to make it a buddy buddy comedy. I’m so salty about this show. Hope to god they don’t turn Daredevil into this.

This is just entirely false nwh is before hawkeye but the being said anyone who says the final swing is around Christmas is false the final swing is anywhere between November 30th ish to December 23 because the tree in NYC is up and lit and hawkeye the party pretty much happens on Christmas eve into Christmas and the tree was knocked down during the final fight

I didn't even finish the show. Once the MC whatever her name is got a call from her mom and was told "hey my bf is here he wants to talk to you stop by first" and then proceeds to be angry and surprised he's at the house, I zoned out and stopped paying attention to the first episode. That's such a big mistake I couldn't get over that it was actually in the final cut of the episode. It's short but it was a whole ass conversation that seemingly never happened 1 min later
Stop talking shit , the Spiderman NWH trailer was out before this episode Aired and we saw the Red statute of liberty with the shield . So no it was confusing
