Rabbi J has always something valuable to say.I like to listen to He's videos
I've found so much wisdom in practicing stoicism. As long as I know I did the right thing, I'm not going to be bothered by other people's own words and actions. I don't allow myself to retaliate or even think about it. I can respond and stand up for myself, but I have to decide if it's really worth the effort: "Am I not doing this out of spite or am I sincerely trying to help others be better?"
@@divinegrackle i so love this dg❣️.. stoicism is such an amazing vein of knowledge to mine.. life changing truly
@@lesleyM84 I find stoicism disgusting
The anger is healthy because people's behavior is usually terrible. I choose to get angry and stay angry because I am not a fragile idealist who doesn't know what to do with a negative emotion. Anger can be quite productive and protective. Calming, even.
the time of putting up with rude, stupid, entitled and unkind individuals is over.. i agree DerHammer.. the problem is see with anger arising from interactions with these types of de-evolved people is that it will allllways disintegrate into chaos.. they have no ability to ration, reason and no upbringing with manners or sense enough to be mannerly… i just stay on the periphery now with humanity and make no eye contact🥳🥳.. my inner peace is worth waaaay more than to engage..
I have seen anger destroy more often than not
Please tell more
I work as a dentist and always need to deal with angry patients (nhs )
How do you manage it
@@marianavisan3005Why are they angry???
@@marianavisan3005 dentistry is one of the most stressful professions DrVisan….. people are so nutty and fearfilled about dental procedures despite your wisdom and skills being amongst the most nurturing and greatest good health ensuring of all medical treatments us humans require .. So here goes, so, i would highly recommend bi-weekly full body massages; monthly Reiki sessions; an at home shiatsu high quality foot massager you can use every evening; a monthly house cleaner for all the deep cleaning needs so you do NOT have that worry and definitely a monthly visit to a therapist who specializes in doctor specific, high stress management who will nurture and validate you, that you can vibe with and feel safe with…
headphones with Binaural Beat music videos in the evening (there are a bunch on RUclips) and finally, a yearly at least 14 day VACATION to an all inclusive resort with lots of good food and spa level pampering❣️🥳❣️🥳.. that’s what i would recommend ❣️❣️❣️🙌🙌🕊️thank you so much for all you do to give us great oral health!!!!! Unbelivable wise man. We are so blessed to be able to listen to someone like sır Rabbî Jacobson in our lifetime specialy where God and spiritualism is almost completly wiped out and ridiculed by paid space and sicience and education lies.
This is very timely for me Thank you Rabbi
Thank you Rabbi Simon Jacobson. ❤️
Choosing not to be angry leads to mental supression of an emitional energy. It gets denied, supressed and didowned and will open you up to unconcious passive agressive behaviour.
Righteous anger is a healthy emotion, BUT..... while feeling anger, acknowledge the emotion, find out what its message is, let the emotion pass and do not sin.
Thank you, Rabbi. ❤ I have had some realizations during this chat. I do tend to hide emotions even though I have grown to where some things don't bother me the way they might bother other people. I would love to work on experiencing my emotions rather than suppressing them, and then continuing to grow to where I don't experience such anxiety and irritation so often.
Thank you for yr emotional intelligence and the uplifting stories you bring in every talk. I feel so much love and compassion for the humanity and for the struggles it needs to face and resolve w empathy and humility. I study now the book of 60 days to prepare my soul to heal and grow free from the chains of memory and home habits of the Holocaust. I thank u for being a wise and kind parent. I m 82 and still need a lot of parenting while parenting my family and grandchildren. Tatiana
Iam always blessed. Thanks Hashem for you Rabbi Jacobson. ❤
As a Catholic I’d like to thank you for your lovely videos. I think of Catholics as “Jewish Light” and appreciate learning even more about applying Judeo Christian values to the humdrum challenges of daily life.
I left Catholic church and ended up finding my self and real happiness in Judaism such amazing truth

Such a powerful teaching - and on time - having had several personal relationships mirror where I need to fine-tune and mature my emotions. It's a process when factoring in trauma as you've touched on. Thank you Rabbi. Saving this one.
Excellent teaching! Thank you! I will surely put this into practice!
Thank you so much for the blessing and the great advice Rabbi! I love your work 🙏
Sometimes you may not do or say anything wrong but then the person on the other end may get the wrong impression and suddenly become rough thoughtless and inconsiderate. He is only interested in what he wants and what he likes and naturally turns a blind eye to the needs and wants of others.
Thank you Rabbi once again for this meaningful talk💞💞🀄
Thank you Rabbi, I've found your videos and book, and website, and wisdom to be a great help over the last 2 years. I've also enjoyed your audio about the Kabbalah.
Thank you Rabbi

When my ex-husband committed Adultery and abandoned the family I was angry, he hurt my children
Are you sure you didn't give him a reason to commit adultery.....?
@joebrennan.4389 no he was verbally and physically abusive , he was a Vietnam veteran and had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, his father also committed Adultery, he abused our children too, God brought them together to save my life, and my children's, my son died from Kidney failure. I donated a kidney. It lasted 8 years, my daughter died of a drug overdose after he abandoned the family, my other son is very supportive of me, and does not respect his father, he never even came to their funeral

Hallo Rabbi,
one word came to my mind listening this teaching "to know". Interesting so a person that is discapacitated in his mind is (can be) a know person but a person that is discapacitated in mind and emotion is a person that know and compose . Thats very important to read and practice the Torah ( and Bible ). Let's know G-d and apply his commandments !
Learning process of a newborn it's something to observe it's every moments is something new. It's almost as fastening as reading Said word of El Shaddi Each word somehow revel a new narative for one to meditate.Reflect on his passage just as thing happen in our world in thy present Moment
In 2013 I got mad at Ellis Hospital , I yelled and got angry they made a mistake, did not check my sons blood sugar, he was not a diabetic, after dialysis his blood sugar dropped to 11, he was put on a ventilator in the ICU and died 8 days later, he was 28.
Blessed are YOU LORD, May his memory be a blessing. I hope they were made to pay for what they did to your beautiful son. I don't know how you would move past being angry at the hospital. The hospital and all the persons involved in letting your son down. I'm so sorry. I hope you have found some peace.
@greeniejeannie I notified the health department, most of the time they are on the hospitals side, and some lawyers did not want to take the case, my only peace is he was on dialysis for 7 years, 3 times a week for 3 hours, I sat with him every time., he never felt better before, during or after, many complications in and out of the hospital 100s of times, they could not do a 2nd transplant because he lost the kidney I donated from a brain infection. , they had to do brain surgery and put a shunt in his brain, my only peace is he hated dialysis and is not suffering anymore😢
@@conniedean3787 Oh my dear woman. You are the definition of love. I weep, I'm so touched by your son's story, and yours. He was surely blessed to have such a mother as you. You and your son were so brave. I know you both were brave to endure what you did for so long. After all our souls belong to Hashem. Peace, precious peace.

The Leviticus says, "such and such person isn't clean." Of course, such and such person has the right to repent as long as they are alive, yet that's another issue.
Im short temper ..its fine mostly im too expressive cannot hide when someone its unfair evil etc but im torn to pièces and guilt when its me the unfair at my kids..i must reach patience toward my boys... thanks rabbi shalom

How can you get through that? And get back on the right path

As great as these videos are there is a disconnect issue that you don’t get from a conversation. Is he available for ‘counseling’?

Emotional itelligence imust run parallel to the dos and don'ts of the society you live in. Political correctness is big in our current society. It is marked by trends and psychology and E.I. conform accordingly. What was normal 30 years ago is not normal in our curremt age. This is because our society seems to change ever more quickly while old cultures, as far as those are not impeded by modernity, see much less change. Emotional Intelligence, by definition, must take current sensitivities into consideration. More than ever there are ideological tensions within society. E.I. is not quantifiable and it has the quality of adaptation, it is not fixed and an individual cannot be measured according to an E.I. standard. It shows the level of conformity in a person, a kind of agreeableness to the ever changing norms within society. Some people clearly have had enough of this and instead cling to fixed standards, possibly conservative ones. In contrast to cognitive intelligence there is no stability to be found in the concept of emotional intelligence. Maybe because it is based on too many changeable issues. Also the idea of how to be 'a nice person' is linked to a supposed high E.I. But it demands identification with the dominant culture to such an extent, that people will express what is considered the norm, not seldom the corporate norm. And that should be called somebody's innate 'intelligence'? Or is it just a matter of wanted or unwanted attitude?
😊❤got blocked again!! Listening to you as I am washing my dishes and trying to cook a little dinner. I feel bothered an uneasy doing kitchen work. It may appear sometimes that I dont care about my housework; or perhaps unable to keep it spick and span .Doesn't the Bible say: 'Thou shalt novel, Thou shalt not steal, and Thou shalt not murder?" Keep me in your prayers. ❤ Grace V.❤

It was BARBARIC HEATHEN GENTILES who Crucified the Jews, just as it was BARBARIC HEATHEN GENTILES who in the name of their carnal idol of flesh Jesus BURNED JEWS ALIVE over and over again, they are who have INFLICTED 1700+ years of PERSECUTION, OPPRESSION and SLAUGHTER upon Gd's Firstborn Son Israel the Jews, becoming their longest enduring and most DEADLIEST of all their Oppressors, who alone to a T, fits the description of the morphing LAST BEAST, Enemy of Gd and His Chosen!
*It is the chakras that bear importance, sir*. The hemispheres work, sort of, together, and are placed at the level of the vision chakra.
Why did the rabbi have to prove he was right? Isn't it enough to know you are right? Isn't that an egotistical action if you know you are right?
In my opinion a person with emotional intelligence should not prove to others he is right. Where is the בטל?...
Personal question, what do you do when someone disrespects you?
@@KR_11117well, it depends. If its my daughters (soon 5 and 6), whether done by mistake or not, i explain that this behavior is insulting and not accepted in our family.
If done by a friend i reflect on how i could have forseen it, for future events, and better selection.
If done by a stranger, based on the disrespect level, i smile or simply consider it as noise.
If you give disrespectful people any attention you are losing twice. Once when you listening to them and second because it stays with you for the rest of the day.
Keep yourself in grateful state, and enjoy God's blessing.
