Hope you liked it!

He is as Vulture in homecoming
Aww man that would've been awesome, he could've been the hobgoblin next to the green goblin cause that would be a challenge
Carnage
I don’t know why but I just burst out laughing when Bateman looks through the photo and says “thanks”😂
Bateman: You know, I’m something of a human being myself.

“Mr Kimble, a coffee” 🤣
Johnathan Kimble Simmons..... J. K. Simmons.......
It kinda fits BC all of the characters in this movie barely exist within each other’s lives. They are there in the scenes but they’re just living a life of false content blinded by their own greed and lust.
I don’t get it, like at all
It's even better cause Tobey Maguire has that awkward look acknowledging it - perfectly edited.
@@vive335
Profile picture checks out
The dialogue is so weird, yet it fits Pat's eccentricity and Peter's awkwardness perfectly lol
💯
It is less weird then the initial dialogue of Batman Dark Knight rises
Perfectly summed up.

Eddie Brock: "I can believe Bateman prefers Parker's photos, to mine."
Bateman: I killed Paul Allen. I... even ate some of his brains.
Bully: You want forgiveness? Get religion.
How does that word taste in your mouth?
Cheap and metallic, like a metal coin?
I missed the part where thats my problem
Bateman didn't eat Allen's brain, he tried some of the prostitutes' brains.
Gonna cry?
I love when Bateman gets his name wrong Parker reacts like "wtf." Really ties the scenes together.
Yea! That was unexpected.
I lost it when he shoved the pictures in his drawer lmao

That part got me rly good :DDD

Harrison Ford "It's Dr actually"
Dude this legit feels like the opening scene for an American Psycho x Spider-Man crossover from an alternate timeline where a mini anthology series for Spider-Man 2002 was green lit for tv.
When he said “Hi. Pat Bateman. Nice to meet you.” and that Marvel intro music kicked in, for a split second I actually thought I was about to witness one of the greatest crossover episodes in history.
Maybe in another 10 years when technology gets even better people will be able to go back and digital Mashup old media. Could be a whole Renaissance of Frankesteined films.
this movie would unironically hit hard. A genuine, kind Peter parker trying to fit in the world of Yuppie culture while trying to stop a serial killer that blends in perfectly.
@@jordanious7711 true true. What angle would he take to be a threat to spider man ? Does he have technology, a super power, lots of goons with guns ?
@@brandonburns9092 We can then create our own personal Multiverses Of Madness. It's coming.

This sound pretty awesome. A thriller "cat and mouse" story featuring Spiderman vs a smart and charming serial killer.
the fact that willam defoe is in this scene is even funnier
He sacrificed alot to get roles in both movies
He's sort of an actor himself
@@followingtheroe1952 Do you know how much he's sacrificed!
willam defoe : out am I?
True..😂😂
The part where Patrick gets Peter's name wrong makes so much sense, too, with how everyone in the actual movie keeps doing that. This is masterfully done.
The way Bateman confuses the name Parker with Kimble, would have fit perfectly in the movie because of how literally everyone and their mother is so oblivious to the people around them that they don't even care to know anyone's real name. That is an insane little detail... This edit is on another level! Amazing job.
I laughed the most at that as well lmao
Just watched it a few days ago. That's so true.
Just a moment their I thought you wrote Batman not Bateman. Must be my subconscious
Oh my god, it even has a watermark..
@@mrosos7308 Yeah me too
This should be a movie
This kind of spiderman and the villain is Patrick Bateman and the plot is that Patrick has Killed someone close to Peter and Peter just never realizes it's him and it's an Adult mystery thriller film
Could be interesting, that's like Spiderman 2 but reversed.
These are the kinds of crossover movies that we need!
Jesus Christ, that actually gave me chills. It didn't even felt like a "tobey maguire" meme, it felt like a genuine movie scene, kinda scary and intense
It's an art
Patrick Bateman as a Spider-Man villain would be some twisted next-level shit, but I love the concept. It's not a guy in a mask robbing banks, he's not even superpowered, but it's what he is and what he represents that makes him terrifying, especially against Peter's hopeless naïve optimism. It's like that scene where Bateman has Jean over at his apartment, only it's Peter, and the head in the fridge is Aunt May's but Peter doesn't even know she's dead yet.
@@LoreEvil
Ikr. A villain like that for a superhero story would make a good plot.
@@frog6054 unfortunately too easy to just brute force.
Who cares how much their immoral way of life hiding behind a mask of normality is antithetical to the nature of the protagonist when the latter can just go "killing is bad" and punch the antagonist through a brick wall.
This was scary to you? Intense even?
- Can you bring mr...
- Parker.
- Mr. Kimbel coffee?
lmao so in character
"Do you like Sam Raimi? His early work was a little too gore-heavy for me, but when he released Darkman he really came into his own, commercially and artistically. The film showed a refined atmospheric sensibility that really leaves it a cut above the rest.

hey joe
Ok this is good
darkstar100x this my friend, was fucking gold!!!!!!!
Pretty sure peter would kick his ass
Peter-(Spider sense goes off, and dodges the axe attack)
Patrick Bateman-(confused wtf face)
This is amazing. I'd love to see more Bateman/Parker edits. Maybe something to do with the telephone scenes, in Spiderman 2 where Peter is trying to tell MJ he's spider man, and in American Psycho where Bateman is freaking out on the phone to Jean
I've been trying to come up with a new video, and this is actually one of the ideas i have!
Maybe even an edit where Bateman is freaking out on the phone as Bully Maguire eats cookies with the landlord's daughter XD
At Daytime he’s Bateman
At Night he’s Batman
Am I wrong or Batman is even worse psychopath than Joker?

The funny thing is that could easily have been a line in American Psycho
There's so much potential here I'm gonna need an entire movie. Batman and Spider-Man, the Green Goblin/Detective Dafoe, Bully Maguire listening to Huey Lewis and the News, Jared Leto as the Joker trying to get a reservation at Dorsia now. There's unlimited potential. A+ editing.
Tbh I can see Spider-Man having someone like Patrick Bateman as a one off comic villain, but I suppose he’d fit better as a batman villain

This is why there was never a Spider-Man 4. Peter got Bateman to track down uncle Ben’s killer. Bully Maguire took on his full form, hung up the spider suit, and he’s been bullying every since.
Batman helping Spider-Man. Wow, wouldn’t have thought of said crossover in my whole life, but here we are.
I know.
THEY DID IT
THE TWO GOATS PATRICK BASEDMAN AND TOBEY MAGUIRE
The magic of editing is somehow incredible. It almost let you make even a new movie.
When Francis Ford Coppola was starting out he used to re-edit old movies and dub them with his crew to make entirely new stories out of existing images. Fun film history nugget.
If Patrick and Peter actually met, I think Peter would've been able to see through Pat's bullshit and figured out what he did
Peter's from a humble home and has a heart of gold, he could smell the evil in Pat from 3 miles away
This was really well edited
You deserve my subscription
Impressive. Now let's see Paul Allen meeting peter parker.
This is fucking perfect
Now you gotta do one with Kimble talking with Peter at the dinner
bateman: "excuse me, I have a lunch meeting wi...."
bully maguire: "I missed the part where that's my problem'
Peter: I'm Peter Parker.
Patrick: Hi, Pat Batman, I mean Bateman.
All jokes aside, a superhero not knowing that they are working for a completely insane villain is an interesting concept
Pat- "I have to return some video tapes"
Bully- "I miss the part where that's my problem"
Very nice, now let’s see Paul Allen meeting Peter Parker..
I wonder how many people actually get the joke of him saying Kimble and how many think it was just lazy editing.
Is it because in the world of American Psycho, everyone mistakes one another for someone else? Like Paul Allen keeps on calling Patrick Bateman Marcus Halberstram.
Everyone looks and acts the same...
Parker has a slightly better haircut.
I mean - It can be both. It's just works TOO good that we would never know.
Wow, the editing is spectacular. Peter fits so well into this scene. Show this to someone who hasn’t seen these movies and they’ll be tricked. Great effort!
This felt like a real scene... Dang it, now I want to see the rest of this movie, lol.
Duuuude bateman would honestly be a great comic villain
The off dialogue could have very well been in American psycho lmao
"Can you bring mister...?"
"Parker."
"Mister Kimble some coffee"
Preacher: "I want Spider-Man and Batman in one room"
This guy: Say no more.
I can’t believe they were roughly the same age here. Christian Bale looked notably older for his mid-20s, whereas Toby Maguire looked notably younger for his mid-20s. Guess that’s why the former portrayed an experienced and ruthless wallstreet psychopath and latter played a high school student super hero.
What is very meta about this, is that it is the green goblin instead of Parker in the original scene talking to Batman…
Everything is normal
The editing is great, it really looks seamless.
The video and sound edit is so flawless. this is one of the sets thing ever put on youtube.
This is honestly as perfect of an edit of this type as I’ve ever seen. Everything from how you timed the cuts, to how you allow the character’s eyes to react to the dialogue being spoken, to the sounds from other parts of the films… it’s brilliant 👏👏
Thank you very much!
This will be the greatest duo in the history
Spider-man getting a job from Batman
“Perfectly Balanced”
Thank you I love bully maguire and i appreciate the videos that people still make this is the funniest meme to me idc
“Impressive, very nice. Let’s see Paul Allen’s photographer.”
“I missed the part where that’s my problem.”
When a psycho meets a bully. Lord only knows of the havoc and destruction they will wreak.
I don’t know if this was intentional but J.K simmons middle name is Kimble so that line was genius!
This was beautifully done.
omg i really needed that thanks!!!
If anyone sees this give Mr Bateman a power. He fr seems like a super villain that spider man would fight
I like it when Peter and Sheryl are bopping with the happy monster band on tour and Peter Parker has ears like lightning McQueen and Sheryl Kylie Toomes has eyes like Carla veloso lol.
Every time, every time the soundtrack just brings pure joy when I hear it. It’s literally the best Spider-Man theme (for me)
This might be the fist time Spider-Man has had to find a guy that literally eats people that somehow isn't Lizard.
I like how the two scenes fit together perfectly, even though one movie came out in 2000 and the timeline is in the late 80s, while the other one came out two years later and is mostly related to the early 2000s...the office design didn't change that much from 80s to 00s I guess
This is the live action Batman vs Spiderman crossover we never knew we needed
Norman Osborn(Kimble) was supposed to visit Bateman, but Peter Parker came instead lol
Bateman: I’m gonna return some video tapes
Parker: I’m gonna put some dirt in your eyes
Parker: "Mr. James told me to give that to you"
Bateman: "Thanks :D"
“Kimble! Kimble!”
“Parker.”
“Whatever, I need those pictures ready for tonight Kimble.”
These movies weren't made that far apart but the American Psycho footage looks WAY older
Impressive. Very nice. Now let's see Paul Allen's photographs of spiderman
I was on the verge of tears by the time this had buffered as I was certain it wouldn't have been been edited very well. But it was. The relief washed over me, in an awesome wave.

Great edit ! Well done !
Also, Spider-Man having to face-off against a psychopath more than an actual super villain.
Peter Parker: "I have 20 clean photos of Spider-Man swinging through the city. Please if I could just have $300 to pay rent it'd mean the world."
Patrick Bateman: "🤨 we do Mergers and Acquisitions here, sir."
this might be the only interaction of spider-man and batman we’ll ever see
