    Great video. Something about that center pivot Moco makes the most satisfying drone shots!

    Be interesting how one of those Dion’s from your previous video of your neighbor measures up in haylage.

    We would chop 1st cut alfalfa, small square bale 2nd & 3rd, and chop 4th, until I got a processor round baler, and I would wet wrap the bales. Stave silos with top unloaders didn't like the wetter 4th cut, and I didn't like the pitchfork!🤣👍👍

    • @mikep7810
      @mikep7810  27 дней назад +1

      I don't blame you. I remember as a kid when we had the top unload silos and the silo unloader broke and had to switch over to the pitch fork silo unloader

      Thanks Ian. The 4555 went down so we were shuffling tractors around for 1st cutting. We borrowed my brother-in-law's 4050 to run on the blower

  • @RickPerry4960
    @RickPerry4960 29 дней назад +1

    When did you have the 4055 on the chopper? I’ve seen a ton of your videos… I don’t remember seeing the 4055 on the chopper.. great video

    • @mikep7810
      @mikep7810  28 дней назад

      Thank you. The 4555 went down at the end of mowing 1st cutting so we used the 4055 to chop while we were waiting for the part

    I"ve heard discbines take more horsepower to run than a haybine. What do you think the minimum horsepower tractor would be to comforably run a discbine ?

    • @mikep7810
      @mikep7810  28 дней назад

      I would say it depends on the size of your discbine. The 956 moco we use in this video is a 15 foot head and the recommended horsepower is around 120-200
