+mrdrh99 For sure 99! Especially the heavy boats like this one. It takes out the setup part of the equation when I'm alone. Which, is all the time. :-)
Setup is a pain. I slack when setting up some days and always hate the end of the day when I am fried. I especially really hate when friends are finished putting their boats away fast and I am still going. I am looking for a trailer setup a bigger boat and how to deal with elevation change hauling an inflatable
*We tried this out finally yesterday and it worked awesome! **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s we put it on our 16 foot aluminum boat and trolled with it. We didn’t catch anything but it was still fun and worked awesome! Can’t wait to use this baby again and hopefully reel in a big ole fish! Very easy to install and set up.*
+Photo314159 It really does work. it does limit cockpit mobility but I store stuff there anyways so no biggie. Thanks all for checking it out. Sky's the limit with these things.
Damn that's a nice setup. Probably the best modded SIB I seen on RUclips. I guess you would have to have a trailer to do any of this or you would be spending like two hours at the ramp putting your boat together. lol
Do you think tying bobber stops onto the mono would work to give you a depth indication? If they wouldn't move, figure out a system and tie multiple ones together. Like 1 green = 20 ft, 2 green = 40 ft. 1 pink = 60 ft. 2 pink = 80 ft. or whatever system you could come up with.
Which size trailer is that I just bought the 15.4 bris having a hard time finding a good trailer for it.also what size is that shaft on the motor? Long or short? Thank you
TheKingPinDamo believe it or not, it's a harbor freight trailer(small) modified with cross pieces (2"channel) welded to the frame and 2x12's under the pontoons. I installed a longer tongue for the hitch.
Oh yea it does in direct sun light. Something to be aware of as the air pressure increases substantially in the chambers when in direct sunlight. I put about 2.5 psi in it when cool and it rises a lot once it heats up in direct sun.
Maybe appculture. But, I'm about the cheapest person you'd ever meet and can't force myself to pay insane amounts of money I can make myself. Thanks for checking it out and tight lines on your next trip on the water!
You've got serious workmanship skills!
Thanks Drew. See ya on the water!
I love modding inflatables! it makes a world of difference when you can trailer them... saves so much time!

I am very interested in your video. Definitely I will be your fan from now and I cannot wait for your next video coming soon. Thank you!
i've been meaning to make a planer mast for mine, just haven't done it yet. cool DIY downriggers. awesome set-up, this boat is.
I’m getting ready to build downriggers for both sides of a 16’ Achilles. Your video is great!!! Thanks!
Looks like you've maximized your boats potential there. I like the seat brace, it makes perfect sense.

Had to see this clip again. Season starts here in Norway these days, and can't wait to get my ducky on the water.
Nice video.

Excellent music choice :) Nice rig :)
Good work mate.
Nice settup.
I have an Avon Rover 280 rib.. I made a small trailer that loads it onto the bed of my truck. Of course I have to remove the 25hp outboard each time.
What is the length of the boat? Love the video.
Nice setup
nick tillman Thank you Nick!
I love how bad the hobie wave is! It looks like it’s from the 50’s

I am thinking to purchase the exact same boat. Can you tell me how is it holding so far? Any issues or regrets?
How's the boat holding after 4 years?
Which size trailer is that I just bought the 15.4 bris having a hard time finding a good trailer for it.also what size is that shaft on the motor? Long or short? Thank you
love your boat what are the seats made of thank you nick
seats are just cheap plastic ones from walmart. Thanks for watching.
Great video! What trailer are you using for your inflatable? Ive been looking for options. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for sharing!
What are the purpose of the planer boards? Nice setup BTW and loving the stealthy black color
Thanks Jim.
Thanks for the downrigger idea! Looks amazing! How did you attach the pulley to the metal rod?
Drilled a hole thru the tubing and inserted a threaded eyebolt. The pulley is attached to the eyebolt. Cheers and good luck in ur build!
@@charliefizfaz373 Thank You!
does the black material get hot....or is it negligable....im thnking getting 15 ft but they only have in black...

great tip on the air expansion. have not taken my bone colour boat out in summer yet. Just got it and it is winter in Australia.
Ur gonna love it Valamaas! They really make a neat versatile platform.
3.5 years later how's the boat holding up? Any seam leaks or major problems?
he didn't reply. boat probably exploded as it got too hot from sun, and sharks ate him. RIP.
crosshair 🤣
Infing coat commendo zodiac 6 persones
I am looking to purchase the same kind of boat. How would you rate the quality of this boat?
On a scale of ten maybe a 7. But it is holding up overall.
planer boards are very useful for spring time fishing when the fish are shallow. they move the lures out off the side of the boat to prevent spooking.
Hi Charlie, love the vid. Would you be willing to share your knowledge, tips and advice on my UK based Facebook group?
Good lord dude
Mount the stern light on the engine cover
