You are now our go-to RV channel. Love everything you do or suggest. Your wife is to die for. She did a great job explaining things. Looking forward to some Harley videos. My wife and I both have had Harleys for over 30 years. ❤
Greg, great to see you and Kay. I knew you were not really going enjoy a camp model. Glad things worked out for you. So so sorry for your friend. I hope he improves. Great looking Rv. Good to see Kay on with you, she looked a little petrified at the start, but more relaxed as you showed the RV off. You guys are great. Stay safe and enjoy your adventure. Looking forward to your next.
Last year, we came down from Minnesota with a MOMENTUM 31G. Stayed here in Casa Granda Az. from December to the end of March. It was a new experience for us but a great time. This year, we wanted to try renting a park model to see if it was different. We moved in at the start of December and loved it. The park model has more space, a larger bathroom, and so much more storage. The couple we rented from decided to sell and asked if we like to buy. They gave us a good price and we purchased. The park is great, the wife playes cards 4 times a week. The park is a co-op, so run by the owners or the people who live here.
Definitely are some upsides. I will say I did not miss towing a camper across the country, and all that goes with that. I only spent $354.00 on gas for the whole trip, if I'd been double towing like I usually do it would've been about an $1,100-$1,200 dollar trip.
Yes on the fuel and ease of towing. When the winds start blowing you would of noticed a lot less movement and noise with the park model. I'll still have to bring our cargo trailer down with the motorcycle, plus all the stuff the wife wants to redecorate or change the house with.
Hey guys. I just have to say. What you are doing for this other couple really speaks of your character. You are good humans and this is exactly how we are supposed to treat each other. Enjoy your time in Arizona! Ps. Park model great for some but you can't see the country in it. To each his own though for sure.👍
I wanna take out our shower doors out an put in a curtain in . How do you cover up the holes where the doors were sliding back in forth in . Is there a kit for this
No kit that I know of. I do know Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, in their hardware section sell small different colored plastic plugs that I've ised before. Other times I've used stainless screws with small stainless washers and bought spray paint to match, most times RV shower surrounds are white or off white, sometimes a cream color.
Hello we are in Rush City MN and are buying a fifth wheel and heading out . We do have 2 Questions 1. How much did that park model cost per month? 2. Where in Arizona? It may be a while before we buy so looking for a place for a month or so. Thank you!
@@CruizinWithTheCarsons Well you answered the question for the rest of us. So thank you 🙏🏽 I was never a fan of park models. We walked through a few at the Tampa show.
@@CruizinWithTheCarsons It was ok, The weather was a little cool, but I was ok with that. We spent the whole day walking the entire show so I am glad it wasn't hot.
Hi Dave, hope all is well. We've also owned 2 Montana's in the past. In my experience I can honestly say from my perspective and observation, Grand Designs build quality such as cabinets, fit and finish, thought process into user friendliness, detail into big and little things, efficiency to heat and cool, storage, is probably among the top tier in the industry.
I think you keep trying to talk yourself out of that Cougar. You mention all the time about things you loved in all your other trailers but no mention of you latest.

lol I could swear I passed you guys in gallop NM. Hey what do yall do with the trucks you use for your work?
Glad it worked out for ya!
Us as well. It would've been an uncomfortable stay in the park model.

@ how was the show, brother? Good turnout? I saw the weather could've been better.

Hopefully two years I’ll be out that way when I retire for the winter -8° this morning in Michigan. What did the outside camper look like?
I am interested in your opinion of the Montana VS Grand Design build quality (not the frame) and insulation and ease of heating and cooling!

We want to get a park model for our son to live in. Perfect for a single person. I need to call you sometime and set a date for interview.

Hi Kevin. We actually love our Cougar. I've done videos in the past of it and gave it high praise.
About to buy a park model for my parents as an ADU when they visit. 100k cheper than building an actual ADU.
