The X-men cartoon was awesome, I have the complete set on dvd and watch them and the spiderman cartoons regularly, the 80s and 90s were a great time for cartoons

Just got my Magneto in the post today and was about to unbox him when I saw this video. So my first time unboxing along with Kyle… “what a time to be alive!”
Ordered all 6. As a new-ish collector these are the first figures for all of 6 of the characters.
Loved the old cartoons watching it again on Disney + I am definitely getting wolverine. Keep up the great work Kyle!! Can’t wait to see the rest of the line!!

Good review. The classic brown suit Wolverine is also my first encounter with the character, way back in the first Secret Wars storyline. I prefer that over the tigerstripe suit. If they put out an updated Wolverine in that X-Man 97 mold with the brown suit (or even the Astonishing X-Men look), that would be great!
Awesome review Kyle! I picked up Gambit, Rogue, and Wolverine and what an upgrade. Might pick up the rest down the line because I need a new Magneto (AoA figure sucks) nice to see hasbro coming out with absolute bangers of figures
There is no such thing as too many Wolverine figures. I remember reading the comic (I still have it) when Magneto ripped the adamantium from Wolverine.
Right I had it too dunno what I did with it but I distinctly remember the wolverine hologram on front of it
I love these figures. Initially only ordered Wolverine. Then I added Gambit, Rogue & Storm. Now I have all these posed and looking amazing. These are my X-Men. I will buy every single wave, every single figure, all of it! I want it all!!! But seriously wave 2 should be Professor, Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Jubilee & Sabertooth. Cannot recommend these enough. Wish they all shared the same articulation but I understand they're using older molds. Wolverine is by far the best of the 6, not just because he's Wolverine but he has the most articulation and the best accessories. Do not skip this one if you like X-Men.
All these guys are coming home with me! The Jim Lee retro card Wolverine came out this year LOL. I know, there's a lot of crap coming out to keep track of.

I wonder if there was no blurb because you got them from DJC? We often miss out on blurbs in Canada because of bilingual packaging requirements.
Just a suggestion Kyle would you ever consider grading these figs as you review it by the end? Would really love to hear your overall rating on each figure.

I'm looking to get the 97 wolverine because the marvel legends version has removable claws which are very floppy and yu always moving them to keep them straight plus i always think they will break or fall out. A wolverine with fixed claws in place is way better
Finally was able to get the full set of wave 1 and 2 rougue was a pain to get ahold of

these figures look awesome and they remind me of watching that show as a kid.
So far I got the 97 storm and yeah I can see myself probably picking up the rest of these! I really like the colors on these✨
These are the only two I would want since I have a few X-men figs already I’m just going to pick out the best looking ones for my team since hasbro never finishes one in the same uniforms

As I'm seeing this video think I might be ALL OUT on X-Men. I'm a huge fan of the original animated series so have all the figures that represent that show (cell shaded). I like the art & packaging more on these 97 releases but I can't do both lines. I wish they did the original series in this form.
Kyle I still have the fatal attractions wolverine I think it was 75 still preserved with the hologram card, now I have to have both these figures. Thanks again for another great review

Between X-Men Animated Marvel Legends and NECAs Gargoyles I'm feeling like a kid during the 90's again. I wish I could invite some friends over to have crazy adventures in our parent's gardens but I'm afraid my friends and/or parents would think I am insane.
For me I want magneto more than wolverine. Because I already have this wolverine in diamond select packing. Of course I'll still buy this one to replace the diamond select one. The diamond select packaging it takes up too much space. What I don't understand is why does Hasbro put extra heads with some characters? It seems like a missed opportunity. If you're both moc and loose collector you need a few of them. One one the wall. Three loose. If you have a massive display. You can have a version on three different shelves.
