5:57 I am very late but I am experimenting with the product, since I haven't cut my hair in about a month and have relatively longish hair (4-5in) I can say the more of it that I used like double or tripe the recommended use the more it worked flawlessly into my straight flat hair then with the "recommend" use.
To my eye the new formula looks a bit more matte in your hair in the side by side. Perhaps another consequence of cutting out some of the ingredients that were in the new old formula? And I'd imagine that's a good thing considering the purpose of the product is to provide volume and it's often the more dry/matte products that accomplish this. Great review!
Totally agree! Matte and dry products also tend to have a bit more control too so that would make perfect sense. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! It looks like your hair has lost some health over the years. It looks like a case of hydral fatigue, or over moisturized hair. Definitely should look into these, they can really mess your hair up.
Hey there! I’ve never heard of this so I looked it up and I’m not sure I meet all the characteristics of hygral fatigue. Excessive frizzing- maybe but my hairs always been frizzy haha. The biggest kicker that made me doubt it was it said the hair would be gummy when wet and had no weight. I don’t see that when my hairs wet but the real discrepancy is the no weight issue. I just had to have my hair thinned out again because it’s so heavy. It gets like cotton balls especially in the back it’s just nuts haha

I'm wondering if I could pair this with a sea salt spray to avoid using a post-styler altogether!
It’s not enough in my opinion to combine with a sea salt spray, unless you got a hair type where you can get away with light holding products. That styling foam I just released has enough hold to use alone without a post styler. I know how that sounds too, but it’s very true.
