Thank you for this, I could have sworn that the hole the straps go through moved like on other models, and now just don’t feel like this would be as safe for smaller kids. Other models/ brands I have the hole moves so it is actually what is at or slightly above the child’s shoulder.

We struggled with the dumb thing and then once we figured it out, I told my wife .... We need to make a video on how this is done lol. Happy it helped you out.

mine keeps getting jammed as we slide the head rest up and down :(
I'm not sure what's going on there myself. Make sure the straps don't have a twist in them and everything is smooth and in place.
Please be sure to also anchor the shoulder straps in the bottom!
