It's soil is so fertile that anything will grow there. Unfortunately during the 70s and 80s many people wouldn't plant because the Army (or rebels) would just steal their crops and many went hungry. Nice to see it is doing better these days.

Hej Yves, I came across your channel by chance. It was a video you made in Uganda. In the meantime, I have been jumping back and forth between your beautiful adventurous videos, with some time leaps. Of course, I was very interested in your Turkey videos as I spent 10 years of my life in Istanbul. I haven't seen all the videos yet, but I can already say that I like them a lot. They have all the ingredients needed to make an exciting Vlog. Travel reports with beautiful pictures and information, adventures, exciting and funny encounters, and incidents that you always master with spirit, humor, and empathy.
I admire your courage, your attentiveness, mindfulness, equanimity, patience and your friendly way of dealing with people. I am full of admiration for the maturity you radiate at the young age of 37. I have just watched your Q & A video, which I not only enjoyed very much, but also helped me to get to know the person behind these wonderful travel reports a little better. As for me, at 68, I am probably one of your older admirers. I have traveled half the world in the course of my life. I already suffered from wanderlust as a young person, but never had the courage to embark on an adventure like yours. I have to admit that somewhat I envy your way of life. It's so nice to be part of it. Thank you so much for taking me with you! God bless you.

Walking in the rain seems really adventurous, but it is scary 😂😂
I loved your persistence on the road, even though it was tiring, but you made it seem fun....
I loved nature very much. I adore such views
    Safe trip, my friend 💕✨

Kino, i noticed you never tell people whom you interact with on the way about your RUclips channel...i think it would do alot for the channel if you did. Most would subscribe out of excitement and wanting to keep up with your adventures! These days most people have smart phones even those in the villages. Much ❤

I don’t recommend tents in the rainy season. During the tropical thunderstorms, the rain comes down in buckets!

Kino: Lo bueno que tiene viajar bajo la lluvia es que hay poca gente a tu vera molestando, persiguiéndote, preguntando o amenazando. Y ni aún así te libras de los impertinentes, pues eres una atracción casi circense para ellos.

You can ride a while on a broken spoke. Plus you can tighten both spokes opposite of the broken spoke to make up some tension. I rode almost 200 miles on a fully loaded bike, over 100 lbs, before finding a cyclist that had a chain whip. Another advantage of touring on an internal drive, is that you need less tools to change a spoke. I work on bicycles for a living so I prefer a derailleur. If you lightly bounce the wheel on the ground you can get that random spoke nipple to fall out. If you find a decent shop you might want to get your spokes tensioned. Sorry for the word salad, I’m much better at working on bicycles than I am at writing!

Oh, thank you for the information. And it's true that I should get my spokes tensioned, thank you for the advice
