Uganda has the best country side roads in the whole of East Africa i guess. I'm a Kampala born but once i travel some good kilometres away from it. That's where i start to acknowledge the beauty of Uganda. It's all super green,roads connection boader to boader with nice people

You can ride a while on a broken spoke. Plus you can tighten both spokes opposite of the broken spoke to make up some tension. I rode almost 200 miles on a fully loaded bike, over 100 lbs, before finding a cyclist that had a chain whip. Another advantage of touring on an internal drive, is that you need less tools to change a spoke. I work on bicycles for a living so I prefer a derailleur. If you lightly bounce the wheel on the ground you can get that random spoke nipple to fall out. If you find a decent shop you might want to get your spokes tensioned. Sorry for the word salad, I’m much better at working on bicycles than I am at writing!
