Okay, but the way Tessa asks you if you really want it and cuts it longer than intended is good. A lot of hairdressers don't do that, and it's sucks. It's a reason I cut my own hair lol

Yeah like you can make it even shorter if you wanna, but you can't make it longer, so going longer and then trimming down if you want it shorter is sooo much better.

I have been growing out my hair since the age of 8 (I'm 16 now) And my now Hair is to mid butt length, and for maybe 2 years now I've gone on and on about wanting to finally cutting my hair and do something more fun like dying it. but as of lately I've finally been starting to pluck up the genuine courage to do so and watching this video made me so excited! just like she said in the video, hair grows back and you only live once; So I'm almost even to the point where I'm thrilled to cut my hair and finally step out of my Comfort zone! Plus I even think It will make me feel more confident with my personal style. and I'll even be donating my hair to an organization that makes Wigs for children suffering from hair loss diseases because I've always wanted to do that in the first place. :D

Tashi Kamala it is just a joke :D There are some bisexual characters in tv shows and video games that have this haircut and it is kind of a meme. Of course your haircut doesn't say anything about your sexuality! But yeah, maybe google "bisexual haircut meme" and you will see what i mean :D
I think it is something like a cliche that all bisexual girls have this haircut and there might not be a correlation between a haircut and the sexuality, but it happens often, that bisexuals have this haircut (maybe it is because it is somehow a trend to cut your hair like this, i do not know)

I totally relate to that bit of body dysphoria and I'm glad to see other girls talking about it!
Where I live the average height for a girl is 160~165, but I'm 175, so I always stand out and feel too big and out of place.
My body is pretty average, but I feel like i'm huge most of the time, always brushed off the feeling, until I had a boyfriend who told me "you're so petite, i don't want to hug you too tight because I feel like I might break you" and that made extremely happy, i hadn't realized how much it actually impacted me feeling that i wasn't "feminine" enough.

Baileyy M for my last period i tried a menstrual cup and i loved it. It took a wee while to get used to but it was so convenient as it could stay in for ages and not be an issue at all. If you're not up for getting bloody fingertips then I'd brace yourself cause it gets a bit bloody but as you practice insertion and removal it gets easier and less messy
Baileyy M if you get a nice small MeLuna cup they're great for beginners because they come in a lot of different sizes, shapes and consistencies. I hated the first cup I ever bought (the moon cup) but I love the one I use now and I'm soooo glad I gave it a second chance as it can be a real life saver when you're caught short + I've saved a ton of money on other period products. I basically love it. Just do loads of research before you buy

SHORT HAIR IS SO FUN!! it grows out super fast if you don't like it. Short hair has a lot of personality and spunk, ALSO whenever you go for a trim because it grows out so fast it feels like a whole other hair makeover when it's really just a trim! A lot of girls these days have long hair anyway

thats really weird bc i have the same backwards dysphoria. ive never mentioned it so i always assumed it was just a me thing. it started when i was younger and all my friends were boys and all i wanted was to be a girl (which i already was ?) and be friends with/accepted by girls. now i have a lot of female friends but i still feel big and butch compared to them who seem so petite and delicate. im not overweight or anything, i just feel like a girl in a boys body even though im not ? weird. anyway you look cute with short hair.

cats cats I've kind of felt that. Like I am thick boned and I had so many growth spurts, and even with them and how much I played outside and did sports as a kid, I was always very plump and thick and big boned, with wide feet. So with the combination of being bi, and not being delicate (and taking ballet kind of drove that home too despite my grace lol) I felt that sometimes. And now I'm overweight with big boob's lol. And I do adore beautiful androgyny. So I'm not even really masculine looking, I don't wear things that make me seem more masculine either. But I do sometimes feel like a big shreky lump xD And I feel like I'm more of a big boyish Shrek lump than Dodie looks (I think she looks delicate, and maybe what she sees is just the way she holds herself or her posture). But I have definitely felt the feeling strike me, especially around more delicate or petite girls.
that's exactly how I feel. my family are tall, I can't stop my growth when my girl friends all petite and cute. I look like a boy when we take picture together because my height is the same with the boys. sometimes it makes me feel uncomfortable. but I'm born like that. it kinda comforting to found people feels the same way like I do. at least I'm not alone :)

I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WITH BACKWARDS DYSPHORIA!!! i am 5'8 and am pretty like??? large in general??? long arms, legs, wide shoulders, big feet and huge ass hands. i always feel super gross and boyish and i wish more than anything i was small and girly and delicate. it doesn't make any sense i guess because my personality isnt gentle or particularly girly at all but i just feel wrong and weird

I cut my hair to a long pixie style in late July of 2016 after having super long hair almost my whole life and I have no regrets!!! I would recommend it everyone. Just make sure you research different styles that would look good on you, show pictures to your stylist and make sure you go to a good place. Don't worry if you don't like it at first, it took me a second try to find the perfect style that I love. Only downside is that if you're having a bad hair day there really nothing you can do about it except put 50 bobby pins in it and hope for the best.

just 5 days ago i cut my hair myself for the first time and i loved it, the way it looked and the whole trill. when kids at my school wanna feel like cool rebel teen they dye their hair blue but that was enough for me. even though it lookes kinda chewed a nd anyone barely noticed, i felt cooled and relieved. i wish the feeling lasted longer though
