WOW, what a treat!! ❤❤❤ Lesley Collge/University is my alma mater, but I was in off-campus programs that allowed students to earn their degrees while maintaining full-time employment. However, I did go into Cambridge frequently to buy my books at the Coop and utilize the library. I loved Cambridge, but I never got to explore the neighborhoods in your video here. I wish I had!! A coworker at one of my MH programs had grown up in one of those housing projects; he told me living there was hell on earth!! Outside of Lesley and Harvard - and books by Louisa May Alcott when I was a kid - I knew little about Cambridge. When this coworker told me there were badass public housing projects in Cambridge, I couldn't picture it!! ... Whenever I see your videos, I feel such a strong pull in my chest as though they're one huge magnet and my heart's a paperclip!! You can live in different places throughout your life and visit many more, but your roots are always with you!! Nothing can pull them up!! I'm proud my roots are in MA!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cambridge used to be Live back in the 80s n 90s.Bad job thought, you didn't roll down pine st,Bishop Allen,Norfolk/Rumeal Robinson Way,Suffolk,Market.I miss the old Cambridge.Since Manhattans left it hasn't been the same.
Agreed. I grew up in The Port section of Cambridge on the 70s and 80s. It's so different now. Harvard Square is almost unrecognizable. Just not the same anymore. Gentrification ruined everything.
