Ok we got Tuatha de Danann pronounced as “Two Ha Day Danann “ but how do you say the sons of Donn? Tuatha De ??

Thats a great question! The term 'Tuatha Dé' comes from Old Irish and literally translates to 'Tribe of the Gods' or 'People of the Gods.' It's actually a shortened form of 'Tuatha Dé Danann,' meaning 'People of the Goddess Danu.' This group is one of the most significant in Irish mythology, often portrayed as a race of divine beings with great powers.
Now, regarding the 'sons of Donn'-Donn is actually associated with the Milesians or Míl Espáine in Irish, the legendary ancestors of the Irish people, who are said to have come to Ireland and defeated the Tuatha Dé Danann. The phrase 'sons of Donn' refers to the descendants of Donn, the ancestor of the Milesians, not the Tuatha Dé Danann.
So, while 'Tuatha Dé' specifically refers to the divine race, the Milesians, which include the 'sons of Donn,' are considered mortal ancestors of the Irish. It's a different lineage in mythology. The terms are connected through their roles in Irish lore but refer to different groups with different origins.
As for the language, 'Tuatha' means 'people' or 'tribe,' and 'Dé' is the genitive form of 'Dia,' meaning 'god.' The language has evolved over centuries, but these terms have ancient roots in the Old Irish language, which was spoken between the 6th and 10th centuries.

If you're interested in the Milesians, there's a lot of fascinating history and mythology surrounding them!
The Milesians, known in Irish as "Míl Espáine," are considered the mythical ancestors of the Irish people. The name "Milesians" comes from "Míl Espáine," which means "Soldier of Spain." According to legend, they were descendants of a warrior named Míl, who led them to Ireland from Spain after many adventures in other lands.
In the mythological cycle, the Milesians are the last of several groups to arrive in Ireland, following the Fir Bolg and the Tuatha Dé Danann. The Milesians are said to have come from the Iberian Peninsula, though some stories suggest their origins might even trace back to Scythia (a region covering parts of Eastern Europe and Central Asia). After a long journey, they landed in Ireland and fought the Tuatha Dé Danann, eventually defeating them and taking control of the land. This victory marks the beginning of what is considered the Gaelic Irish people.
Their story blends elements of myth and history, symbolizing the final wave of settlers who established the Celtic culture in Ireland. The influence of the Milesians in Irish mythology is profound, they represent the mortal ancestors of the Irish, tying the people of Ireland to a noble and adventurous past.
If you're interested in how tales and history intertwine, the story of the Milesians is a great place to start!

      @@MythMinimus wow...in Slavic lang
Tuatha is known here as Teta (aunt, wise elder woman) and Dan means Day.
Didn't know all this, so it's really great of you to share.
Also...god...means wood rings that shows age of the tree. It still has the same meaning.
