Lol, well I guess I would because I do have empathy and sympathy for people, and if I saw someone who was small and weak being extorted, I would sympathise and my natural instinct would be to feel sorry for and want to help him. So therefore I would probably end up getting ganged up on and become prey as well. I guess the trick would be to be a good actor and pretend you don't care. This kinda shows you why some people affiliate themselves with a gang in prison, to protect themselves from that happening to them.
Why do they have ice picks in jail, like I can understand that inmates will get a hold of all kinds of shit that's already. But it's Miami, what ice do they really need to pick.
It's interesting how most Americans just take this all for granted..."That's how it is" and so forth. But this guy really brings the conscience of civilization to it and you can hear the connotation - "Hello, America...this isn't right. Why don't you try to fix this behavior and make things better?"
It's not America's fault, it's the same in most prisons around the world. You should see some of the psychopaths in New Zealand Prisons, they are cold, calculating savages with no remorse or empathy. Not much can be done to change it, only thing would be to lock them in individual cells 24/7. But that is against human rights so they can't legally enforce it.
I deeply feel sorry for the inmates who are extorted and have their kind mother's pay for their safety purely due to whatever it is this thing is. This thing is not even a human being because no human being can stab another person and have no sympathy for them. Even animals display more kindness. He deserves to be in jail for the rest of his life unless he makes a genuine change for the good.
American jail is hard. it's like they don't ever want to get out. people go there then get out in a gang and have to do stuff. I never seem to see people getting there head down and being good to get out to go home.
The sad reality is this man is a product of his environment. He has learnt to be aggressive, ruthless and evil in order to prevent himself from being a victim. You could argue that he is just surviving in his world, much like everyone else around him. This shows that humans are just animals like anything else and will do whatever they need to.
The authorities ought to be held liable for whatever happens to inmates in their custody. If a weaker prisoner is preyed upon, extorted or raped or stabbed, the prison, the state, the warden should all be criminally and civilly liable in a court of law. Because one has been interred does not mean they are no longer human and any other prisoner can do whatever they want to them. The predators are psychopaths and the prisons should be responsible for their control and if they can't control them then they should execute them. Period.
@@michaelharrison3602 There are a number of measures that can be put into practice - fine the prison, fire the staff, fire the management, put incentives in place for a more peaceful running of the prison. For a so-called developed country, the US prisons are worse than many in the third world. The guy talking about stabbing people with an ice-pick is obviously a psychopath. Because she was laughing? I don't think she was fucking smitten with him, it's more about how open he's being about his stabbing another person. It's so far removed from societal standards of morality that you don't really now how to properly react. Especially since she likely has encountered similiar situations beforehand.

the staleness of time that this shit exudes reminds me of the 90s when i was a kid. but the deja vu feeling is weird being an adult now. it's strangely familiar even though i've never been through it. the contrast is so vast; going from being normal to having to become someone you're really not just to survive. it's interesting.
Even the staff are laughing about it, what chance has a vulnerable inmate got ...

Larry Hicks rappers be faking all the time. Just exploiting the lifestyle that cost so many lives and so many people locked away.
I would not want to be locked up with him
Lol 😂 truth.
PC Kiddo.
He would have you washing his underwear in the sink.
Abrupt OG captain obvious don't traumatize his mental thoughts.
Fire Thief this is the video to show kids to scare them straight. this dude is a straight killer and he is hunting for weak prey.
Imagine never growing out of “he disrespected me”
Anyone else feel like they would be the one this guy extorts lol
Lol, well I guess I would because I do have empathy and sympathy for people, and if I saw someone who was small and weak being extorted, I would sympathise and my natural instinct would be to feel sorry for and want to help him. So therefore I would probably end up getting ganged up on and become prey as well. I guess the trick would be to be a good actor and pretend you don't care. This kinda shows you why some people affiliate themselves with a gang in prison, to protect themselves from that happening to them.
Kill or be killed
nah
Usually come down to sticking with your race if general pop
Lol
so disturbing
The warden laughed when this man said he preys on the weak. Madness
Dude looks like Marshawn Lynch evil twin brother lol
People we all stay away from crime bec that place is not nice let's continue to be good people/ citizens
yes unless you get locked up for something petty or get framed
and who tf are you, Ghandi?
Why do they have ice picks in jail, like I can understand that inmates will get a hold of all kinds of shit that's already. But it's Miami, what ice do they really need to pick.
For their cocktails which they have after dinner and before the cinema
@@jtsotherone HAHAHAHA
It's slang for a type of knife with no cutting edge, just a rod of something with a sharp point
@@16DeadAndSmiling Yeah, 'ice pick' meaning a pick, a pointed tool like a sharpened screwdriver.
It's not an actual ice pick. It is a name given to a certain type of inmate produced weapon. Similar to a 'shank'.
What a thoroughly disagreeable fellow. Long may he remain incarcerated.
*GABOSE*
He thinks he is tough.
But in reality he is sad sad human being
He might be tough, but he's certainly not happy
Well he had that female guard all giggling and shit thinking he was the man on some level.. but yea still sad I suppose
No, he's tough
@J.Mowbray you are quite correct, I wouldn't say it to his face. Doesn't change that fact his whole life is a waste of time and that's just sad
Idk he seems pretty tough to me 😂😂
Indifferent to the pain he causes others and proud of it. This is why we need prisons.
It's interesting how most Americans just take this all for granted..."That's how it is" and so forth. But this guy really brings the conscience of civilization to it and you can hear the connotation - "Hello, America...this isn't right. Why don't you try to fix this behavior and make things better?"
No way to undo all those years of slavery and segregation
It's not America's fault, it's the same in most prisons around the world. You should see some of the psychopaths in New Zealand Prisons, they are cold, calculating savages with no remorse or empathy. Not much can be done to change it, only thing would be to lock them in individual cells 24/7. But that is against human rights so they can't legally enforce it.
@@dannyboy768 was he slave and was he segregated in the 60s? No and no lol
Makes me laugh how Louis asks the most basic straight forward questions and people just don't understand what he's really even saying
American jail is hard. it's like they don't ever want to get out. people go there then get out in a gang and have to do stuff. I never seem to see people getting there head down and being good to get out to go home.
They show the most violent inmates for entertainment purposes
Paul
It's a tv show. They try to make it seem hard.
The media doesn't care about normal, non-violent inmates.
bobo42024 its hard bruh. Aint no acting
he in general pop tellin lol
What a lovely man, his mother must be very proud.
The guards laughing is the darkest thing ive ever seen. Its literally movie quality scary.
You laugh at evil people. What's wrong with that?
@@troywright359 They laughed with him...
@@whodatking26 they laughing at him. They going home to warm bed.
He said he probably in general population somewhere telling on somebody lmfaooooooooo
Louis Theroux is a genius. Andrew Callaghan is the re-incarnation of Theroux. Can’t wait for the future for both of them.
Louis is still alive so that doesn't make much sense.
sadly this did not age well
amazing how the guards found it funny that he extorts weak inmates
slenjamiah ... That's the way that world works....it would be stranger if it didn't happen
the realised how ridiculous what he was saying was.... there's no way you can be that dense mate
Rae excuse me ?
Ridiculous? Extortion goes on everyday in prison.
They all fucking him
The sad reality is this man is a product of his environment. He has learnt to be aggressive, ruthless and evil in order to prevent himself from being a victim. You could argue that he is just surviving in his world, much like everyone else around him.
This shows that humans are just animals like anything else and will do whatever they need to.
100%
Love this comment! We as humans have to survive and Adapt to our environments
‘ when the chips are down these civilised people will eat each other’ joker
What it shows is that he chose to stay in his environment, and then be part of the problem. Everyone has a choice, no matter how hard it is.
Ur absoluety right but he has to be punished for the sake of his victims.
Period.
So what should we do with prison officers found guilty of neglect? Send them to prison? do you think that would improve the situation I doubt it
@@michaelharrison3602 There are a number of measures that can be put into practice - fine the prison, fire the staff, fire the management, put incentives in place for a more peaceful running of the prison. For a so-called developed country, the US prisons are worse than many in the third world.
The guy talking about stabbing people with an ice-pick is obviously a psychopath. He has long-ago reneged on the right to be treated as a human being - it would be better simply to give a man like this a lethal injection and have him out of the population.
@@michaelharrison3602 fire them, there many strong straight guys and women out there who can do the job as it should be done and yeah if a Fu***cking ass hole with q suit did something wrong he deserves to be enjailed, dont try to make it look like all humans are like the ass holes who are hired by governments, they do this for q purpose mosy of government officiqls qnd employees qre chosen qccording to their qbility to not care about citizens issues and feelings to be easy to manipulate, it s meant to be like this
They use the violence as punishment. The State is too cowardly to use corporal punishment itself, so they outsource to these people.
I agreed with everything you said until you suggested execution. You are just as much a monster as them. Civilised countries do not execute people. Keep them locked up and away from possible victims, but murder them? You need to seek urgent mental health care immediately.
I wish Louis had said "it's 'AN' ice pick"
The scariest guys don't play up for the cameras like this clown, it's such a pathetic waste of life
The prison guards are kinda hot though
Stabs someone over disrespect, my brother you locked up what makes you deserve respect
GABOS
That prison guard is the living embodiment of the phrase "You're way too pretty for this job"
Only ugly people work in these jobs
This is the 2nd video you guys posted that i see the guards acting out of place.. Think we found a new topic.
It’s incredible how low human beings can go…😞
3:32 willing to bet that guard is dirty, based off the fact shes giggling then stops when the camera turns on her. somethin aint right with that one.
theroux should have asked her why she was laughing
psychopaths
nah just products of environments, prison being one of them
HighVoltage135 Sociopath
Truth
pmo Damn you read my mind!!💯Its just like somebody coming back from a brutal war. That soldier not the same no more. We all have to adapt to our environment. Its human nature. Its nature period.
You try living in a small area filled with nothing but testosterone far from everything you know and are familiar with.... you'd go crazy too...animals don't belong in a cage....
Its all smiles till a bigger, badder and tougher inmate comes along.
As you get older the fun wears off and regret kicks in.
“Screet altercations”
discreet altercation
Another great example of how these humans are being represented. These prisons clearly bring and thrive off the negative sides of humanity. It's hard to watch. They want you to be an animal
Unfortunately that's how human beings are
he seems like a genuine guy...
00:10 Haha. Those buff forearms I thought they had a whole cured ham hanging off the bars 😆
PLOT TWIST: everyone's acting so ruthless cos they want to be left alone
I feel on edge with women around those guys
Those women are just as crazy.
These women love the attention they get from these men everyday
Mee tooo what courage
SeriouslyNotNormal sexist
I know the words whores and women both have a w, o and e in them but please don't get them mixed up again.
I could never work in a prison. So depressing
I served 4 years here in the U.K. and it was bad but not like this. There is less gang activity and less of the feeling of complete anarchy.
I guess that's how some female guards end up pregnant, laughing along with a maniac.
MARCVS LICINIVS CRASSVS for sure.
Because she was laughing? I don't think she was fucking smitten with him, it's more about how open he's being about his stabbing another person. It's so far removed from societal standards of morality that you don't really now how to properly react. Especially since she likely has encountered similiar situations beforehand.
Harley Quinn
They deff give it up
That's why she stopped as soon as the camera turned like she thought she was gonna be looked down on for that
"Gabos" that dude was scary lol
What? Cuz he's black? U RACIST
👨🏿
Looks lovely. What are the reviews like on trip advisor?
When this guy gets old how about his own tricks being played on him
He gon be a OG and you gon get ya wig split
Even the guard can’t put a sentence together
I come back to this video every time I get down in the dumps. It reminds me how correct this inmate is about life.
This guy is a hard ass now but before long he will be 75 with diabetes and a bad heart. Not so tough any more.
The minute he gets arthritis they will tear him apart but it's all good.
Ah great. And in the meantime I'm locked in this cell with him....
sgtcrab1 he doing good mind yo business bitch -
When i go into county I'm finding this little mark out and make him my bitch
This kind of people never get to that age
I went to jail once , I was in there about 9 hrs and never left the holding cell. I thought that was bad. I can only imagine how bad 24 hrs a day in cell with him would be.
john john I’ve been in a holding cell for 24 hours 3 times I go crazy every time idk how they do it I have anger problems and that’s what leads me there it makes me want to be smarter about my decisions when I’m angey
the staleness of time that this shit exudes reminds me of the 90s when i was a kid. but the deja vu feeling is weird being an adult now. it's strangely familiar even though i've never been through it. the contrast is so vast; going from being normal to having to become someone you're really not just to survive. it's interesting.
Well nice to see someone living a full happy life
That is one hot prison guard 🔥
realest interview i ever seen.
You can hear the pain in his voice
Thats from all the salty liquid he consumes from other inmates💦💦💦
I don't hear any pain in his voice.Hes a super predator in his particular jungle.
Ahhhh life’s accomplishments
Kudos to the smiling inmate
He must have an amazing life
I’m jealous

Sircal won Trial in 2008 He was on all the floors in the Miami county jail for a lot of fighting Anton Calloway vs the state of Florida acuited
Is solitary really worse than having to deal with people like this 24/7?
Good question. One could probably debate that for years.
