Love…The best
I adore this,it sounds like carrying a piece of Heaven in the heart
The richest of layers between the parts!! It's unbelieveable the scenery that this piece takes you through! Truly a gem played by the finest of orchestras
..c'est d'une puissance des forces vitales coulants dans l'âme slave, je suis ébahis, tout particulièrement dirigé par Daniel Barenboim, dans son esprit universel, cosmopolite. Éblouissant, merci !
This powerful music makes you feel something Czech no matter what nationality you are
the Moldau of the Great Smetana stirs strongly every time my soul
, glad to see Barenboin OK , may God bless him (y)

So peaceful and calming. Happy Holidays
This is one of my favorites 😍 it’s so magical
good taste for a music
It’s hypnotic in the most beautiful way
Great orchestra and performance! Very good timpanist top: essential but fluid movements with no unnecessary agitation of arms
Vltava- by Smetna You can see the River Vltava running through Prague.
This is such an easy flowing piece of music it makes for a bit of happiness I think. I enjoy listening to this lovely 😊 piece. I especially love the final chords which always surprise me suddenly.
Czech pride 🇨🇿❤️
Thanks to Mr. Falla for that.

Such a sweet sound.
BRAVO!!!
Barenboim is amazing. This piece, so hypnotic.
Wonderful music
wonderful..
a pity, just the beginning (... of this completely amazing work)
very cool indeed
I’ve heard colleagues say that Barenboim sometimes gives them fits, as he simply stops conducting for many measures, as he “feels the music”. Former principal second violin in Chicago said many in the orchestra were happy when a guest conductor was on the podium. It’s very difficult to transition from a concert pianist career to a conductor. Many people love this fellow’s work, more than a few do not. Oh, well.
Beautiful
Bravo!

Now even the BPO has this fake smiley cutesy crap going on, at around :30 in. I miss Karajan and Solti, the musicians didn't have time to put on a fake act while playing due to the demand on them to focus on the music. This is the greatest orchestra in the history of civilization, now reduced to video directors telling them to put on an act so stupid people will think it's really something... when it was already really something without all the pretentious, smug smiling. This happens in many modern classical music videos and I can't say enough against it. Absolutely mediocre performance hiding behind fake presentation standards.
And you think Karajan's videos were real and undirected?
@@althen Karajan got behind everything and put the camera on him etc etc etc... but it wasn't fake cutesy smiley looks from one orchestra member to another. my complaint is that this lame idea has well run past its course and i'm sick of seeing it. it also adds nothing whatsoever to the performance, at all, so what are you defending?
Completely agree with you Barney. Plus Does not matter which composer is he conducts everything in the same way.
@@armandogabba1364 I don't mean to be too harsh on Barenboim, as he has proven for decades that he is remarkably solid with his abilities, but the manipulation of the video audience with orchestra members acting out pretend smiles to each other has been over done. I beg that it stops. But I also admit that I'm not as thrilled with the conductors of today compared to the conductors of the past. No real comparison.
Listen with closed eyes .... What really matters is the interpretation not other extramusical dislikes
Every performance of Barenboim is just narcissism
